2012–13 Brentford F.C. Season
During the 2012–13 English football season, Brentford competed in Football League One. During one of the club's most memorable seasons, the Bees took Premier League giants Chelsea to a replay in the fourth round of the FA Cup and suffered a dramatic last-minute defeat to Doncaster Rovers on the final day of the league season in a "winner takes all" match for automatic promotion to the Championship. The team rallied to beat Swindon Town in the play-off semi-finals, but were defeated by Yeovil Town in the final at Wembley Stadium. Brentford is a suburban town in West London, England and part of the London Borough of Hounslow. It lies at the confluence of the River Brent and the Thames, west of Charing Cross. Karleigh Osborne
Karleigh Anthony Jonathan Osborne (born 19 March 1988) is an English football manager and former professional footballer who is the head coach of Brentford Women. As a player, Osborne was a central defender and made over 160 Football League appearances for Brentford between 2005 and 2012. In his subsequent nomadic Football League career, he played for Millwall, Bristol City, Colchester United, AFC Wimbledon, Plymouth Argyle and Grimsby Town. Mark Warburton
Mark Warburton (born 6 September 1962) is an English professional football manager and former player who is a first-team coach at West Ham United. As a player, Warburton was a right back at non-League level with Enfield and Boreham Wood. He began his coaching career in the academy at Watford, before moving to Brentford in February 2011, serving as a coach and sporting director until being appointed manager in December 2013. He led the club from League One to promotion to the Championship in the 2013–14 season and finished the following season with the club's best second-tier placing for 80 years. The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship purposes) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League.
