2012–13 Blackpool F.C. Season
The 2012–13 season was Blackpool F.C.s second-consecutive season in the Football League Championship, the second tier of English professional football, and their 104th overall season in the Football League. They finished in 15th position. Tom Ince was the club's top scorer, with eighteen goals in all competitions. Ian Holloway, in his fourth season, was manager until 3 November. He left to join Crystal Palace, at which point his assistant, Steve Thompson, took over in a caretaker capacity. On 7 November, after a second game in charge for Thompson, Blackpool appointed Michael Appleton in the role in a permanent capacity, on a one-year rolling contract. He became Blackpool's thirtieth full-time manager. Appleton, in turn, left the club for Blackburn Rovers on 11 January. Steve Thompson again took over as caretaker. Blackpool is a seaside resort in Lancashire, England. Located on the northwest coast of England, it is the main settlement within the borough also called Blackpool. The town is by the Irish Sea, between the Ribble and Wyre rivers, and is north of Liverpool and northwest of Manchester. Elliot Grandin
Elliot Grandin (born 17 October 1987) is a French professional footballer who plays as a winger for Championnat National 3 club Cannet Rocheville. Grandin can also play as a central attacking midfielder. He notably played in the Premier League for Blackpool and previously in France for Caen, Marseille, Nice and Grenoble. Stephen Dobbie
Stephen Dobbie (born 5 December 1982) is a Scottish former professional footballer. He is Senior Professional Development Phase coach at his former club Blackpool. Dobbie is Queen of the South's second-highest goalscorer of all time (166 goals) and the club's record scorer for a single season (43 goals in the 2018-19 season). Matthew Clayton Hill (born 26 March 1981) is an English former footballer who played as a defender. Born in Bristol, Hill started his career with Bristol City where he made over 200 appearances. Brett Ryan Ormerod (born 18 October 1976) is an English retired professional footballer. A forward, he made 340 appearances in the Football League, including 215 for Blackpool, for whom he is the only player to have scored in all of the top four divisions of English football for the same club. Roman Bednář (born 26 March 1983) is a Czech Republic, Czech former professional association football, footballer.
