The 2012 WNBA season is the 15th season for the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association. Trudi Lacey
Trudi Lacey (born December 12, 1958) is an American basketball head coach, most recently of the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). NC State statistics Source USA Basketball Lacey was named to the team representing the US at the inaugural William Jones Cup competition in Taipei, Taiwan. In subsequent years, the teams would be primarily college age players, but in the inaugural event, eight of the twelve players, including Lacey, were in high school. The USA team had a record of 3–4, finishing in fifth place, although one of the wins was over South Korea, who would go on to win the gold medal. Lacey was chosen to represent the USA on the USA Basketball team at the 1981 World University games, held in Bucharest, Romania. The Chicago Sky are an American professional basketball team based in Chicago. The Sky compete in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) as a member club of the league's Eastern Conference. The franchise was founded prior to the 2006 season. The Sky experienced a period of success from 2013 to 2016, making four playoff appearances and playing in the 2014 WNBA Finals. Donnette Jé-Michelle Snow (born March 20, 1980) is a retired American professional basketball player who played most recently in the Turkish Women's Basketball League. High school career Born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Snow led Pensacola High School to the state championship and was named "Miss Basketball" in 1998. Snow was named a Women's Basketball Coaches Association, WBCA All-American. Nkolika "Nicky" Nonyelum Anosike (born February 27, 1986) is an American professional basketball player in the WNBA, most recently with the Los Angeles Sparks. Personal Anosike was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Staten Island where she attended St. Peter's High School for Girls. Anosike was named a WBCA All-American. Natasha Lacy (born July 8, 1985) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the New York Liberty in the Women's National Basketball Association, WNBA. Lacy was born in El Paso, Texas, and is the daughter of Austin and Pauline Lacy. She has four older siblings, Curtis, Keota Maryuen, Marcus and Austin. She attended Montwood High School, where she earned three varsity letters. Lacy was rated the ninth best guard and the 23rd best player by All-Star Girls Report. Ashley Robinson (born August 12, 1982), nicknamed A-Rob or Robbo, is a 6'4" professional basketball player in the WNBA, most recently played for the Seattle Storm. High school Robinson played for South Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she was named a WBCA All-American. Marissa Coleman (born January 4, 1987) is an American professional basketball player previously played for the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Personal life Coleman was born in Portland, Oregon to Tony and Joni Coleman. She has an older sister, LaTonya, and a younger brother, Anthony.
