The 2012 Tianjin Teda F.C. season was the club's 9th season in the Chinese Super League, and 44th season in China's top flight. They started the season with Josip Kuže as manager, before replacing him with Alexandre Guimarães halfway through the season. Domestically they finished the season in 8th place, reached the Fourth Round of the FA Cup and were runners-up in the Super Cup. Tianjin Teda also participated in the AFC Champions League, where they were placed in a group with Seongnam, Nagoya Grampus and Central Coast Mariners, they finished bottom of the group with 3 points. Tianjin (; ; Mandarin: ), alternately romanized as Tientsin (), is a municipality and a coastal metropolis in Northern China on the shore of the Bohai Sea. He Yang
He Yang (; born 23 February 1983 in Tianjin) is a former Chinese international footballer. Club career While He Yang graduated from the Tianjin Teda youth team during the 2002 league season he struggled to break into the first team until the 2003 league season when he made thirteen league appearances. Often coming on as a substitute throughout much of his career he had difficulty in establishing himself as regular and was often criticised for his lack of concentration within defence, nevertheless he remained with Tianjin even when he was completely dropped from the senior team in the 2008 league season. Liao Bochao
Liao Bochao (; born 16 July 1987) is a Chinese professional footballer who plays as a full-back for Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League. Club career Liao started his professional career with Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda in 2008. On 6 July 2008, he made his senior debut in a league match which Tianjin Teda beat Liaoning Whowin, coming on as a substitute for Bai Yi. He scored his first goal in this match. Fan Zhiqiang
Fan Zhiqiang (; born 22 August 1988) is a Chinese footballer who plays for Tianjin Shengde. Club career Fan Zhiqiang would join the Tianjin TEDA youth team at age 15 before being selected to represent Tianjin in the 2009 National Games where in the final group game, Tianjin lost to Beijing, knocking them out of the competition and leaving Fan dissatisfied with the referee’s officiating he chased the referee along with several team mates he was severely fined by the Chinese Football Association and was suspended for two years. Despite being heavily fined and given a two year suspension he still remained with Tianjin TEDA and joined Tianjin Normal University to continue with his studies while also representing their college team and China in the Football at the 2011 Summer Universiade. Tian Xu (footballer)
Tian Xu ( 220–264) was a military officer of the state of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period of China. Life Tian Xu was from Wuzhong County (無終縣), Youbeiping Commandery (右北平郡), which is in present-day Jizhou District, Tianjin. He was a grand-nephew of Tian Chou, an official who served under the warlord Cao Cao in the late Eastern Han dynasty. In 220, after Cao Pi (Cao Cao's son and successor) ended the Eastern Han dynasty and established the state of Cao Wei with himself as its first emperor, he wanted to honour Tian Chou for his good moral character. However, as both Tian Chou and his son were already deceased, Cao Pi decided to make Tian Xu the successor to Tian Chou, and he awarded Tian Xu the title of a Secondary Marquis (關內侯).
