2012 Scotland Rugby Union Tour Of Australia, Fiji And Samoa
In June 2012, the Scotland rugby union team made a tour of Australia, Fiji and Samoa, playing one test match against each. The tour began with Scotland's second consecutive win over Australia, meaning they retained the Hopetoun Cup. (They had beaten Australia 9–8 at Murrayfield in 2009.) Scotland then travelled to Fiji, becoming the first "Tier 1" nation to play a test in a Pacific Island nation since Italy visited Fiji in 2006. Scotland recorded away victories over both Fiji and Samoa. Scotland were also scheduled to play the New South Wales Waratahs on 10 June, but this match was called off on 11 May as the Waratahs were unable to field a team "due to injuries and the requirements of the Wallabies squad." Andy Robinson
Richard Andrew Robinson OBE (born 3 April 1964) is an English rugby union coach and retired player. He was the director of rugby at Bristol until November 2016. He is the former head coach of Scotland and England. From September 2019 to December 2022, he was the head coach of the Romania's national rugby team. Robinson played as an openside flanker for Bath, England and the British & Irish Lions. He was head coach of England from October 2004 until November 2006, then coach of Edinburgh Rugby and joint coach of Scotland A between October 2007 and June 2009. Ross Rennie (born 29 March 1986 in Scotland) is a former rugby union player. He first played for Edinburgh Rugby and then Bristol Rugby as well as representing the Scotland national team. John Adam Barclay (born 25 September 1986) is a Scottish former rugby union player, who played as a flanker and Number 8. Jon Welsh (born 13 October 1986) is a Scotland international rugby union player most recently with Newcastle Falcons. Welsh was previously at Glasgow Warriors. Welsh is a former Junior boxing champion, in the end choosing to play rugby professionally. Club career Welsh begun playing professionally for Glasgow Warriors around 2008 and was named in the Pro12 Dream Team at the end of the 2011/12 season. Euan Murray
Euan Murray (born 7 August 1980) is a retired Scottish rugby union footballer, whose last club was Pau in the French Top 14. He started his career with Glasgow Warriors before playing for a number of clubs including Northampton Saints, Newcastle Falcons and Worcester Warriors. He also played for the Scotland national team.
