2012 PDC Pro Tour
The 2012 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They were the Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) Players Championships, the UK Open Qualifiers, and the new European Tour events. This year there were 33 PDC Pro Tour events – 20 Players Championships, 8 UK Open Qualifiers, and 5 European Tour events. Prize money Prize money for each Players Championship and UK Open Qualifier is £34,600, unchanged from 2011. Prize money for each European Tour event was £82,100. In addition, the 32 players who failed to qualify for a European Tour event at the final qualifying stage receive £100. A further £400 per Pro Tour event (£800 per European Tour event) was reserved for a nine-dart finish. If this was not won in an event, it was carried over to the next event, and so on until a nine-dart finish was achieved. PDC Pro Tour

Michael van Gerwen has won the most Pro Tour titles winning 84. Phil Taylor is second on the list winning 70 events, Peter Wright third winning 32 events and Gary Anderson in fourth winning 31 events, as of September 2022. Pro Tour Card Since 2011, the PDC Pro Tour has operated a Tour Card system. 128 players are granted Tour Cards, which enables them to participate in all Players Championships. Adrian Gray
Adrian Gray (born 28 February 1981) is an English darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Gray made his televised debut at the 2003 UK Open. He only began playing darts at the age of 18, and within three years had defeated notable players such as three-time world champion John Part. He made his debut in the PDC World Darts Championship in 2006, defeating Ronnie Baxter in the first round before losing to Darren Webster. An ever-present in the UK Open televised finals in Bolton, Gray's run to the semi-finals at the Antwerp Darts Trophy in 2007 saw him earn a Stan James World Matchplay qualifying spot but he lost 10–12 to Kevin Painter in the first round. Jeff Smith (darts Player)
Jeff Smith (born 6 November 1975) is a Canadian professional darts player who plays in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He reached the semi-final of the 2015 BDO World Darts Championship and the final of the 2016 BDO World Darts Championship in the following year where he faced Scott Waites. Career In his first tournament, Smith reached the semi-final of the Canada National Championships in 1996. He won the tournament in 2008 beating Jeff Noble. Smith entered the Professional Darts Corporation Q School in January 2011. He won a PDC tour card on the third and final day by defeating Ross Smith 6–2 in his final match. Dean Winstanley
Dean Winstanley (born 10 February 1981) is an English professional darts player. He first took up darts as a two-year-old, stopped playing at the age of 12, and then started playing again when he was 22. He turned professional in 2008 and won his first event at the 2010 German Open. Darts career BDO Winstanley won the German Open, England Open, and Belgium Open in 2010. As a result of his performances on the BDO circuit, he qualified for the 2010 Winmau World Masters as the fourth seed. He defeated Stewart Rattray in the last 16 before losing to Martin McCloskey in the quarter-finals. Winstanley also qualified for the 2011 World Championship as the third seed. Kurt Van De Rijck
Kurt van de Rijck (born 28 November 1972 in Mechelen) is an former professional Belgian darts player who has played in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Van de Rijck reached the semi-finals of a PDC Pro Tour event in Nuland in September 2011. This result helped him to qualify for the 2012 PDC World Darts Championship via the European Order of Merit. He lost 3–0 to Wes Newton in the first round, but averaged an impressive 93.84 Van de Rijck entered the 2012 PDC Q School, and earned a PDC Pro Tour card with a 6–5 win over Andrew Gilding on the second day. Michael Barnard (darts Player)
Michael Barnard (born 8 October 1976 from Sidcup, Greater London) is an English professional darts player who plays in the Professional Darts Corporation events. Career A winner of the World Youth Masters in 1991, Barnard joined the PDC circuit in late 2003 taking part in UK Open regionals, reaching the semi finals of the Scottish Regional and the quarter finals of the North West Regional. His performances helped him progress to the third round of the 2004 UK Open automatically where he narrowly lost 8–7 to Andy Jenkins. Stuart Kellett
Stuart Kellett (born 12 August 1981) is a former English darts player. BDO career Kellett reached the last 16 of the 2007 Winmau World Masters, having beaten Andy Fordham among others on the way to the televised stages. He lost 1-3 in sets to the then BDO world champion Martin Adams. He also qualified for the 2008 Zuiderduin Masters, losing both of his group games to Mareno Michels and Darryl Fitton. In 2010, Kellett won both the Scottish Open and the Antwerp Open. His good run of form helped him to qualify for the 2010 Winmau World Masters as the second seed. Steve West (darts Player)
Steve West (born 5 June 1975) is an English darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. He is the younger brother of 2003 World Master Tony West. BDO career West showed signs of a promising career quickly by reaching the final of the 2005 French Open, losing to local Dominique le Roy. He also reached the last 32 of the 2005 World Masters where he lost to Gary Anderson. In 2007, West reached another Open final in the 2007 Dutch Open, one of the BDO's biggest Open tournaments. Tony West (born 7 July 1972) is an English former professional darts player. Darts career BDO career Winmau World Masters West's biggest successes have come at the Winmau World Masters. He reached the final in 2002 but was beaten by 7-4 by Mark Dudbridge. In 2003, he made the semi-finals where he played Ted Hankey. Richard Howson (born 19 December 1965) is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events.
