The 2012 New South Wales Cup was the 105th season of New South Wales's top-level statewide rugby league competition. The competition is contested by eleven teams over a 30 Week Long Season (including Finals), which concludes with the 2012 Grand Final at ANZ Stadium in Sydney. New South Wales Cup
The NSW Cup, currently known as the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a rugby league competition for clubs in New South Wales. The competition has a history dating back to the NSWRFL's origins in 1908, starting off as a reserve grade competition, and is now the premier open age competition in the state. The NSW Cup was the Reserve Grade/Presidents Cup/First Division from 1908 until 2002, and the NSWRL Premier League from 2003 to 2007, the NSW Cup from 2008 to 2015, the Intrust Super Premiership NSW from 2016 to 2018, the Canterbury Cup NSW from 2019 to 2020. The New South Wales Cup, along with the Queensland Cup, acts as a feeder competition to the National Rugby League premiership. Illawarra Cutters
The Illawarra Rugby League Football Club were an Australian rugby league football club based in Illawarra formed in 2012. Originally known as the Illawarra Cutters, they became known as the Illawarra RLFC before the 2017 Intrust Super Premiership NSW. They won their first and only premiership title with the 2016 Intrust Super Premiership NSW, 2016 against Mount Pritchard Mounties at Parramatta Stadium. This was the final ever game to played at this venue. On 2 October 2016, Illawarra played in The NRL State Championship against Queensland Cup winners The Burleigh Bears. Illawarra went on to win the final 54-12. Illawarra finished The 2017 Intrust Super Premiership NSW season in 8th place and qualified for the finals. Auburn Warriors
The Auburn Warriors Rugby League Football Club were an Australian rugby league football club based in Auburn, New South Wales formed in 1953. They played in the NSW Ron Massey Cup competition and in Sydney's A-Grade competitions. 2017 In The 2017 Ron Massey Cup season, Auburn qualified for their first grand final in the competition. Dane Chisholm (born 4 July 1990) is a French-Australian international rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Featherstone Rovers in the Betfred Championship. Sean Meaney (born 8 July 1986) is a former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Manly Sea Eagles in the NSW Cup. He primarily played at fullback but could also play at five-eighth or on the wing. Playing career A Manly junior, Meaney represented New South Wales at an under-17s and under-19s level, before joining the Wests Tigers. Nafe Seluini is a Tonga international rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Sunshine Coast Falcons in the Intrust Super Cup. He previously played for the Penrith Panthers and the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches.
