2012 ITF Women's Circuit
The 2012 ITF Women's Circuit was the 2012 edition of the second-tier tour for women's professional tennis. The ITF Women's Circuit is organised by the International Tennis Federation and is a tier below the WTA Tour. The 2012 season consisted of 484 events in 63 countries with prize money ranging from $10,000 up to $100,000. ITF Women's Circuit
The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments each year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000. Players who succeed on the ITF Women's Circuit earn sufficient points to be eligible for qualifying draw or main draw entry to WTA tournaments. Until 2011 the ITF Women's Circuit was the level immediately below the main WTA Tour, but in 2012 the WTA introduced an intermediate level, the WTA 125K series. Cristina Dinu (born 18 January 1993) is a professional Romanian tennis player. Dinu has won 23 singles and 27 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 30 September 2013, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 179. On 20 May 2019, she peaked at No. 153 in the WTA doubles rankings. Katarzyna Piter (; born 16 February 1991) is a Polish professional tennis player. In the spring of 2014, she reached her career-high rankings, No. 95 in singles and 67 (new high in July 2022: No. 66) in doubles.
