Philips Sport Vereniging (; en, Philips Sports Association ), abbreviated as PSV and internationally known as PSV Eindhoven (), is a Dutch sports club from Eindhoven, Netherlands. It is best known for its professional football department, which has played in the Eredivisie, the top tier in Dutch football, since its inception in 1956. Along with Ajax and Feyenoord, PSV is one of the country's " big three" clubs that have dominated the Eredivisie. The club was founded in 1913 as a team for Philips employees. PSV's history contains two golden eras revolving around the UEFA Cup victory in 1978 and the 1987–88 European Cup victory as part of the seasonal treble in 1988. The team has won the Eredivisie 24 times, the KNVB Cup ten times and the Johan Cruyff Shield a record of twelve times. Erik Pieters
Erik Pieters (; born 7 August 1988) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left back for West Bromwich Albion. Pieters began his career with Utrecht and made his professional debut in August 2006. He impressed enough at the Stadion Galgenwaard to earn a move to PSV Eindhoven in July 2008 for €2.5 million. At PSV he won the Johan Cruijff Shield in 2008 and the KNVB Beker in 2011–12 and also became a regular member of the Dutch national team. Przemysław Tytoń (; born 4 January 1987) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Eredivisie club Twente. Club career Born in Zamość, Tytoń played for Górnik Łęczna until the end of the 2006–07 season when the Polish first-league club was relegated to the third division because of corruption. Timothy Derijck (born 25 May 1987) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Belgian First Division A club Zulte Waregem.
