2011–12 Notts County F.C. Season
The 2011–12 season was Notts County Football Club's 123rd year in The Football League. Season review Kits Fila will become Notts County's kit suppliers this season, after signing a three-year contract. With Nottingham based solicitors, Fraser Brown, sponsor the home shirt and Vision Express sponsoring the away shirt. Pre-season Notts County began their pre-season with two games on the same day. Half of the squad played at newly formed Ilkeston FC, the game finished 2–2, while the other half of the squad won 1–0 at Hucknall Town FC. They then lost 2–0 at Hinkley United before a 1–0 win at Kettering Town. Notts then won 2–1 at Nottinghamshire rivals Mansfield Town before two home games – a 3–2 defeat to Peterborough United and a 1–1 draw with Wolverhampton wanderers. Notts County
Notts County Football Club is a professional association football club based in Nottingham, England. The team participate in the National League (division), National League, the fifth tier of the English football league system. Founded on the 25 November 1862, it is the Oldest football clubs, oldest professional association football club in the world and predates the Football Association itself. The club became one of the 12 founder members of the English Football League, Football League in 1888. They are nicknamed the "Magpies" due to the black and white colour of their home strip, which inspired Italian club Juventus F.C., Juventus to adopt the colours for their kit in 1903. Conference South
The National League South, formerly Conference South, is one of the second divisions of the National League in England, immediately below the top division National League. Along with National League North, it is in the second level of the National League System, and is the sixth tier overall of the English football league system. The National League South was introduced in 2004 as part of a major restructuring of the National League System. Each year the champion of the league is automatically promoted to the National League. A second promotion place goes to the winner of a play-off involving the teams finishing in second to seventh place (expanded from four to six teams in the 2017–18 season). Jude Barrington Stirling (born 29 June 1982) is an English former footballer who plays as a defender. Lee Hughes (born 22 May 1976) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Stourport Swifts. A strong striker with excellent finishing abilities, Hughes represented the England semi-professional team once in 1996. Crawley Town F
Crawley () is a large town and borough in West Sussex, England. It is south of London, north of Brighton and Hove, and north-east of the county town of Chichester. Karl Hawley
Karl Leon Hawley (born 6 December 1981) is an English professional footballer who plays for Sutton Coldfield. He has represented the England C team. Career Born in Walsall, West Midlands, Hawley started his career for his hometown team Walsall but only played one league game. While at the Bescot Stadium he also spent loan spells at Raith Rovers and Hereford United, where he scored once against Burton Albion. Krystian Mitchell Victor Pearce (born 5 January 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Kidderminster Harriers and the Barbados national team. Pearce began his football career with Birmingham City, but never played for their first team. He spent time on loan at Notts County, with whom he made his debut in the English Football League, Port Vale, Scunthorpe United and Peterborough United before leaving Birmingham permanently for Huddersfield Town in 2010. Mike Edwards (footballer, Born 1980)
Michael Edwards (born 25 April 1980) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. Edwards played professionally between 1997 and 2018 and most notably played for Notts County, where he spent eleven years over two spells which yielded 311 League appearances and 26 goals. He also played for Hull City, Colchester United, Grimsby Town and Carlisle United.
