2011–12 Macedonian First Football League
The 2011–12 Macedonian First League was the 20th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of Macedonia. It began on 31 July 2011 and ended on 23 May 2012. The league title was won by FK Vardar FK Vardar Skopje ( mk, ФК Вардар Скопје), or simply Vardar, is a football club based in the capital city of Skopje, North Macedonia, North Macedonia. The team went through the season without a single defeat until Round 32, on 20 May 2012, out of 33 games played. FK Vardar Skopje ( mk, ФК Вардар Скопје), or simply Vardar, is a football club based in the capital city of Skopje, North Macedonia, North Macedonia. Štip ( mk, Штип ) is the largest urban agglomeration in the eastern part of North Macedonia, serving as the economic, industrial, entertainment and educational focal point for the surrounding municipalities. Stadion Goce Delčev
The Goce Delčev Stadium ( mk, стадион "Гоце Делчев") is a multi-purpose stadium in Prilep, North Macedonia. The total capacity is 15,000 (5,684 seats with a VIP/Media capacity of 400) and is named after revolutionary leader Goce Delčev. Prilep
Prilep ( mk, Прилеп ) is the fourth-largest city in North Macedonia. It has a population of 66,246 and is known as "the city under Marko's Towers" because of its proximity to the towers of Prince Marko. Name The name of Prilep appeared first as ''Πρίλαπος''. The old fortress was attached to the rocky hilltop, and its name means “stuck” ''on the rocks'' in Old Church Slavonic. FK Teteks
FK Teteks ( mk, ФК Тетекс) is a football club from the city of Tetovo in North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History In 1946, there was a club from Tetovo called Šar Tetovo, and it competed in the Macedonian Republic League and Macedonian Cup. It won the Macedonian Cup two times in 1948 and 1950, and was successful in the Macedonian League. However, it was dissolved after a few years, mostly because of financial difficulties. Not much long after this, a new club was founded on the base of FK Šar, named Tekstilec. The club was founded in 1953, under the name FK Tekstilec. FK Sileks ( mk, ФК Силекс) is a football club based in Kratovo, North Macedonia who play in the Macedonian First League. History The club was founded in 1965. Sileks biggest accomplishment in 90s came in the Yugoslav Cup where they reached the quarter-final. It was a remarkable achievement considering they defeated both Sarajevo teams, FK Željezničar and FK Sarajevo in back to back rounds. FK Bregalnica Štip ( mk, ФК Брегалница Штип) is a football club based in Štip, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian First League. History FK Bregalnica was formed in 1921 and currently plays in the Macedonian First League. Their nickname is The Blues because the club colours are all blue. FK Pelister ( mk, ФК Пелистер) is a Macedonian football club based in the city of Bitola, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History FK Pelister, was formed in 1945. In 1946 they won the Bitola regional title and that same year they merged with Rabotnik. They won the Bitola title in 1950 and 1951 again. During that time the most influential players were: Georgievski, Dimitrovski, Petrovski, Naumovski, Lazarevski, Sekerdžievski, Avramovski, Nestorov and Eftimovski.
