2011–12 Air21 Express Season
The 2011–12 Air21 Express season is the first season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The team, originally known as the Shopinas.com Clickers took over the original Barako Bull Energy Boosters franchise after it was sold to the Lina Group of Companies (which also owns the Air21 Express, renamed as Barako Bull starting this season) in July 2011. Franz Pumaren
Franz Santos Pumaren (born December 5, 1963) is a Filipino former professional basketball player and coach. He played college ball for De La Salle University before playing professional basketball in the Philippine Basketball Association. He is the former coach of the Adamson Falcons in the UAAP. He is also the incumbent congressman from Quezon City's 3rd district. Basketball career Pumaren played most of his professional career for the San Miguel Beermen where he won 9 championships with the team which also included the 1989 Grand Slam. He also played for the Mobiline Cellulars. Pumaren formerly coached the De La Salle Green Archers from 1998 to 2009 where he led them to five men's basketball championships including a four-peat from 1998 to 2001, and his final championship with the team in 2007. Mark Angelo C. Canlas (born June 15, 1986 in Pampanga) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He was undrafted in the 2011. He was signed by the Clickers before the season began. He was a member of the UST Growling Tigers who won the UAAP title in 2006. The Meralco Bolts is a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team began in 2010 after the Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) acquired the PBA franchise of the Sta. Lucia Realtors. The team is one of three PBA teams presently under the control of businessman Manuel V. Pangilinan – the other teams being the TNT Tropang Giga and the NLEX Road Warriors. Mark Gracer P. Isip (born December 10, 1980 ) is a Filipino professional basketball coach and former player. Isip played college basketball for the FEU Tamaraws, where he is currently an assistant coach. He was then drafted sixth overall by the Sta. Lucia Realtors in the 2006 PBA draft and played ten seasons in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Isip only played limited minutes in his first few years until he played for the Barako Bull Energy Boosters during most of the 2010–11 PBA Philippine Cup where he had a number of double-double performances. Nelbert Omolon (born June 30, 1980 in Talakag, Bukidnon) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player. He last played for the San Miguel Beermen of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted 8th overall in the 2004 PBA draft that included Rich Alvarez, Marc Pingris, James Yap, Ranidel de Ocampo, Gary David, Sonny Thoss and Wesley Gonzales. The Air21 Express were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) that debuted in the 2011–12 season. The team debuted as the Shopinas.com Clickers during the 2011–12 PBA Philippine Cup. In 2014, the franchise was sold to Manila North Tollways Corporation (a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation) and was renamed as the NLEX Road Warriors. The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, or simply known as the Magnolia Hotshots, are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team is owned by San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc., a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation (SMC). The team is one of three PBA ball clubs currently owned by the SMC group of companies, along with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the San Miguel Beermen. Don Allado
Don Carlos Armand Crisostomo Allado (born June 10, 1977) is a Filipino basketball coach, former professional player, and politician. A power forward, he played college basketball for the De La Salle Green Archers, where he won back-to-back UAAP championships, most valuable player (MVP) awards, and Finals MVP awards in 1998 and 1999. In the 1999 draft of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), he was selected as the eighth overall pick by Alaska with whom he won two PBA championships: the 2000 All-Filipino Cup and the 2003 Invitational Championship. Brian Ilad (born June 13, 1985) is a Filipino professional basketball player who last played for the Makati FSD Blazers of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). Elmer Espiritu
Elmer Torres Espiritu (born November 23, 1985) is a Filipino former professional basketball player who last played for Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He played five seasons for the University of the East Red Warriors in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines from 2005 to 2009.
