2011–12 Adelaide United FC Season
The 2011–12 Adelaide United FC season was the club's seventh A-League season. It includes the 2011–12 A-League season as well as any other competitions of the 2011–12 football season. Season overview As of 1 April 2011, all A-League clubs were able to negotiate new kit supplier deals as the previous contract with Reebok had elapsed and as such, Adelaide United negotiated a three-year deal with Erreà. Off-season transfers marked the departure of long serving players Travis Dodd, Lucas Pantelis and Robert Cornthwaite, and of fan favourites Mathew Leckie and Marcos Flores to overseas clubs. In a coup for the club and the A-League, Rini Coolen managed to secure the signatures of Socceroos Bruce Djite, Jon McKain and Dario Vidošić; with the latter being offered the Australian marquee player status at the club for the season. Adelaide United FC
Adelaide United Football Club is a professional soccer club based in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. The club participates in the A-League Men under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The club was founded in 2003 to fill the place vacated by Adelaide City and West Adelaide in the former National Soccer League (NSL), and is now the sole team from the state of South Australia in the A-League. Adelaide United's home ground is Coopers Stadium, formally Hindmarsh Stadium. Adelaide United holds the record for the largest win in an A-League game. Adelaide defeated North Queensland Fury 8–1 at Hindmarsh Stadium on 21 January 2011. Rini Coolen
Rini Coolen (born 10 February 1967) is a Dutch retired football defender and currently the Head of the Feyenoord Academy. Club career Coolen played professionally for Go Ahead Eagles, Heracles, De Graafschap and AZ. Managerial career He retired in 1995 and became a football manager who worked for Heracles Almelo, FC Twente and AGOVV Apeldoorn. He left FC Twente by mutual agreement on 1 February 2006. In November 2008 he signed for RBC Roosendaal as the successor of released coach Rob Meppelink. In 2010, he was appointed manager of A-League club Adelaide United. Beverley is a western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Charles Sturt. Geography The suburb is mainly bounded by Port Road, East Avenue, Ledger Road and Grange Road. Antony Paul Golec (; born 29 May 1990) is an Australian former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Golec is now a real estate agent after his retirement from professional football. Club career Sydney FC Golec was a member of the inaugural Sydney FC National Youth League squad in 2008/2009. On 25 October 2008, Golec made his debut for Sydney FC against Melbourne Victory. Milan Susak
Milan Susak (, born 29 January 1984) is an Australian retired footballer who last played for Yangon United as a defender. He is currently a trainer at the youth soccer team of western Sydney. Club career Early years Susak is also of Serbian descent. He penned a one-year deal on 26 July 2007 after impressing coach Aurelio Vidmar in pre-season games against Melbourne and Perth. Adelaide City Football Club is a soccer club based in Adelaide, South Australia. The club was known historically as Juventus — the original name given to the club by its founders in Adelaide's Italian community. Adelaide City is one of Australia's most decorated sides, having been crowned national champion three times. The National Premier Leagues South Australia (often abbreviated to NPL South Australia or NPL SA) is a semi-professional football competition in the Australian state of South Australia. The league is a subdivision of the second tier National Premier Leagues, which sits below the A-League on the national pyramid. Yevhen Viktorovych Levchenko, also known as Evgeniy Levchenko ( uk, Євген Вікторович Левченко; born 2 January 1978 in Kostiantynivka, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union) is a retired Ukrainian-Dutch footballer.
