Ian Paia
Ian Paia (born 28 October 1990) is a Solomon Islands footballer who currently plays for Solomon Warriors in the Telekom S-League as a forward. Club career Paia has been a youth product of Koloale FC Honiara. After a few years he signed for the Solomon Warriors in 2014. After playing in the OFC Champions League he signed in 2017 for Vanuatuan side Ifira Black Bird. After winning the Vanuatuan Championship he returned to the Solomon Warriors. Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. Bertrand Patrice Charles Kaï (born 6 June 1983) is a New Caledonian international footballer who plays as a forward for Hienghène Sport and the New Caledonia national team. He is one of only two New Caledonians to be named Oceania Footballer of the Year. International career Kaï made his debut for New Caledonia on 14 June 2008 in the 0–0 draw against Vanuatu. Jeffery Bule
Jeffery Bule (born 15 November 1991) is an association football and futsal player from the Solomon Islands. He plays as a midfielder for Suva in Fiji, as well as the Solomon Islands 11-a-side and futsal teams. Club career Bule played for Koloale in both legs of the 2009 OFC Champions League Final against Auckland City FC on 25 April 2009 and 3 May 2009. Koloale lost 9–4 on aggregate. Fiji Football Association
The Fiji Football Association is the governing body of football in Fiji. It came into existence in 1961. It is the overseeing body of the Fiji National Team and its leagues. History Football started to be played in Fiji ever since the arrival of Europeans in Fiji and establishment of towns like Levuka where significant numbers of sports enthusiasts could congregate and socialise with a friendly game. Missionaries, who established schools in Fiji, introduced football as part of the school program and football was being played in schools as early as 1889.
