The 2011 WOW Tennis Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 4th edition of the tournament and part of the 2011 ITF Women's Circuit, offering a total of $50,000 in prize money. ITF Women's Circuit
The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments each year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000. Players who succeed on the ITF Women's Circuit earn sufficient points to be eligible for qualifying draw or main draw entry to WTA tournaments. Until 2011 the ITF Women's Circuit was the level immediately below the main WTA Tour, but in 2012 the WTA introduced an intermediate level, the WTA 125K series. Hsu Wen-hsin (; born 13 April 1988) is a Taiwanese former tennis player. Hsu won two singles titles and six doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 15 May 2006, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 221. On 7 May 2012, she peaked at No. 180 in the WTA doubles rankings. Julia Boserup (born September 9, 1991) is an American retired tennis player of Danish descent. Boserup began playing tennis at age six, after her mother, a native of Denmark, enrolled her in group tennis lessons. She was home schooled in high school, which allowed her to focus more time on her tennis career which began in 2006. In 2017, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of world No. 80, whilst her best doubles ranking was No. 218. However, she suffered from injuries, and in May 2019, she announced her retirement. Diana Ospina-Taylor (born July 4, 1979) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Biography Ospina is the youngest of three children and only daughter of Luis Fernando and Maria. Her father is an endocrinologist and she was raised in Bloomfield Hills in metropolitan Detroit. A right-handed player, she claimed her first ITF circuit title in Mexico City in 1997. Elizabeth Henderson Lumpkin (born May 24, 1986) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. She currently serves as the assistant women's tennis coach at the University of Oregon. Carol Zhao (Chinese:赵一羽; born June 20, 1995) is a Canadian tennis player. She turned professional in June 2016 and was Canada's top singles player from June 11th, 2018 to July 23rd, 2018.
