2011 V-League
The 2011 V-League was the 55th season of Vietnam's professional football league. Eximbank have taken over as official sponsor of the V-League. Teams Nam Định were relegated to the 2011 Vietnamese First Division after finishing the 2010 season in last place. They were replaced by Hà Nội ACB. Navibank Sài Gòn defeated Than Quảng Ninh in the end of season promotion/relegation match to secure their place in the V-League. Vietnamese Super League
The V.League 1 ( vi, Giải bóng đá vô địch quốc gia, lit=National Football League), also called Night Wolf V.League 1 due to sponsorship reasons, is the top professional football league in Vietnam, controlled by the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company. It is contested by 14 clubs who play each other on a home and away basis. The team finishing at the top at the end of the season is crowned the champion and enters the AFC Champions League. The league was founded in 1980 as the All Vietnam Football Championship, with Tổng Cục Đường Sắt emerging as the first winner. The league turned professional in the 2000–01 season, which allowed clubs to hire foreign players. Vietnam Professional Football (VPF) was established in 2012, and the organising power was transferred from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to Vietnam Professional Football Jointstock Company (VPF). T&T Hà Nội
Hanoi Football Club () is a Vietnamese professional Association football, football club based in Hanoi, Vietnam that competes in the V.League 1. The club currently plays in the V.League 1. Hanoi FC was founded in 2006 as T&T Hanoi Football Club, shortened as Hanoi T&T before renamed to Hanoi T&T Football Club in 2010 and finally to its current name in 2016. The club has participated in the V.League 1 since the 2009 season. The club has been regarded as the first fully professionalized club in the country and the most successful club in Vietnamese football. Hanoi's traditional colours is purple-white or purple-yellow home strip. The club's main rivals are Haiphong Football Club, Haiphong, against whom they contest the ''Northern Vietnam'' Derby.
