Monique Sullivan
Monique Sullivan (born 21 February 1989) is a Canadian cyclist. She was born in Calgary, Alberta. She competed in keirin at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where she placed sixth. She also competed in women's sprint and placed 11th. Career She won a bronze medal at the 2007 Track Cycling World Junior Championships in the Keirin event. In 2009, she had top-10 finishes at World Cup event in Beijing (sprint) and Manchester (keirin). She won the National Championship in the sprint event in 2010 and won bronze in the 500m. That year, she'd also capture silver at the Pan American Championships in Mexico City, Mexico and finished in fourth place in the 500m and sprint events. In 2011, Sullivan had top-10 finishes in the sprint and keirin events at the World Cup in Cali, Colombia. Fatehah Mustapa (born 12 March 1989 in Terengganu) is a retired Malaysian track cyclist. She competed in the keirin race at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she placed 15th. Miriam Welte (born 9 December 1986) is a German track cyclist. Career At the 2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Melbourne, Welte and Kristina Vogel won the gold medal in the team sprint. They set a world record in qualifying which they broke again in the final. On 22 June 2012, she set a new world record of 10.643 seconds in the individual sprint event. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she and Vogel won the team sprint gold medal. Welte was trained by her step-father, Frank Ziegler. Emily Rosemond (born 11 March 1986 in Cairns) is an Australian short track speed skater, who represented Australia at the 2006 Winter Olympics before changing sports and representing Australia in track cycling. Rosemond was given the Keys to the City of Brisbane in 2006 after her Olympic debut at the age of 19 years.Emily Rosemond made her Olympic debut as a short track speed skater at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics. She contested the 1000m and 1500m, finishing 12th and 25th respectively. Rosemond's short track career was interrupted by an ACL rupture, six months before her Olympic Games debut.
