The Thai FA Cup 2011 ( th, มูลนิธิไทยคม เอฟเอคัพ) is the 18th season of Thailand knockout football competition. The tournament is organized by the Football Association of Thailand. The cup winner were guaranteed a place in the 2012 AFC Champions League. Buriram United F
Buriram (, , , 'city of happiness') is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in Thailand, capital of Buriram Province, about northeast of Bangkok. The town occupies ''tambon'' Nai Mueang of Mueang Buriram District. In 2012 it had a population of 27,862. History Almost a thousand years ago, the present-day Buriram was part of the Khmer Empire. Ruins from that time attest to its destruction. The most significant of them is on an extinct volcano and is protected in the Phanom Rung Historical Park. According to inscriptions found, Buriram's ruler recognized the hegemony of the Khmer Empire's emperor. Before the ascent of Bangkok, little was known about Buriram. Krabi F
Krabi ( th, กระบี่, ) is the main town in the province of Krabi (''thesaban mueang'') on the west coast of southern Thailand at the mouth of the Krabi River where it empties in Phang Nga Bay. As of 2020, the town had a population of 32,644. The town is the capital of Krabi Province and the 10 Krabi city sub-districts. Tourism is an important industry. Krabi is south of Bangkok by road. The original name of Mueang district, Uttaradit, was Bang Pho. This district was under the control of Phi Chai District. Later, it was established as Uttaradit Province and Bang Pho District became the capital district. It was changed to Mueang Uttaradit District recently. The district is the seat of government and the center of economic activity of Uttaradit Province. Uttaradit is 483 km north of Bangkok. Ranong ( th, ระนองPronunciation) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in southern Thailand, capital of the Ranong Province and the Mueang Ranong District. The town covers completely the area of the ''tambon'' Khao Niwet (เขานิเวศน์). As of 2005, it had a population of 16,163. Ranong lies south-southwest of Bangkok by road. Geography Ranong is on the estuary of the Pak Chan (or Kraburi) River, opposite Myanmar's Kawthaung (formerly Victoria Point). Loei (; ) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in northeast Thailand. Loei covers the whole ''tambon'' of Mueang Loei district and is the capital of Loei province. In 2017, Loei had a population of 21,013. Loei lies 545 km north-northeast of Bangkok, 150 km west of Udon Thani. Geography Loei is in the fertile valley of the Loei River, which runs from south to north through the eastern part of the town. A range of hills lies to the east, including Phu Bo Bit Forest Park, about from the town centre. Climate Loei has a tropical savanna climate (Köppen climate classification ''Aw''). Uthai (, ) is a district (''amphoe'') in the eastern part of Ayutthaya province, in Thailand. History The district was originally named Uthai Yai, but was renamed Uthai in 1916. Before the Ayutthaya kingdom was conquered by Burmese troops in 1767, Phraya Wachira Prakan (the later king Taksin) led his small group of soldiers against the Burmese troops to the east. He passed the Burmese troops and arrived at the territory in the morning. Then he named this area ''Uthai'', which mean 'risen sun'.
