2011 Thai Division 2 League North Eastern Region
2011 Regional League Division 2 North-East Region is the 3rd season of the League competition since its establishment in 2009. It is in the third tier of the Thai football league system. The league winners and runners up will qualify for the 2011 Regional League Division 2 championship stage. Changes from Last Season Team Changes Promoted Clubs Buriram were promoted to the 2011 Thai Division 1 League after winning the 2010 Regional League Division 2 championship pool. Expansion Clubs Amnat Charoen Town joined the newly expanded league setup. Serving Bans Ubon United are in the second year of their two-year ban. Regional League North-East Division is the 3rd Level League in Thailand. It was formed in 2009 along with other four other regional leagues, all playing at the same level. The winner of each regional league enter the Regional League Championships to determine the three teams that will receive promotion to the Thai Division 1 League. The 80th Birthday Stadium is a sports facility in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand. It is the main stadium in His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary, 5 December 2007, Sports Complex. It is home to Nakhon Ratchasima FC, a professional team, and it was used for the 2007 Southeast Asian Games which coincided with the 80th birthday of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, hence the name of the venue. Loei (; ) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in northeast Thailand. Loei covers the whole ''tambon'' of Mueang Loei district and is the capital of Loei province. In 2017, Loei had a population of 21,013. Loei lies 545 km north-northeast of Bangkok, 150 km west of Udon Thani. Sarakham is the capital city of Maha Sarakham Province in Thailand's northeastern (Isan) region.
