2011 Singapore Cup
The 2011 Singapore Cup (known as the RHB Singapore Cup for sponsorship reasons) starts in June 2011. It is the 14th staging of the annual Singapore Cup tournament. 11 S.League clubs and 5 invited foreign teams play in this edition. The cup was a single-elimination tournament, with all sixteen teams playing from the first round. The first round involved one-off matches. Subsequent rounds involved ties of two legs. The Young Lions have opted out of participation in view of their involvement in the inaugural AFF Under-23 tournament in Indonesia during the period of the competition. Zulkiffli Hassim (born March 26, 1986) is a Singaporean professional footballer who currently plays for Tanjong Pagar United. He plays as a forward. Hougang Stadium
Hougang Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located at the junction of Hougang Avenue 2 and Hougang Avenue 10 in Hougang, Singapore. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Hougang United FC. Mamadou Diallo (born 2 July 1990) is a Guinean former professional footballer who played as a striker. Career When Diallo was seven years old, he was inspired to become a footballer after his brother became a professional footballer in the local league. Hougang United Football Club is a Singaporean professional football club that competes in the Singapore Premier League. History Hougang United Football Club was founded as Marine Castle United Football Club, which was formed by Newcastle United fans in the Marine Parade area. Warriors Football Club is a Singaporean professional football club that played in the Singapore Premier League, the top division of football in Singapore. Before changing their name on 20 January 2013, they were previously known as the Singapore Armed Forces Football Club (SAFFC) since their establishment on 16 February 1996. Pattaya United Football Club ( th, สโมสรฟุตบอลพัทยา ยูไนเต็ด) was a Thai football club based in Pattaya, Chonburi Province.
