2011 Shanghai International Film Festival
The 2011 Shanghai International Film Festival was the 14th such festival devoted to international cinema held in Shanghai, China. It took place from June 11 to June 19, 2011. The opening and closing ceremonies were held at the Shanghai Grand Theater. ''Water for Elephants'' is a 2011 American romantic drama film directed by Francis Lawrence and written by Richard LaGravenese, based on Sara Gruen's 2006 novel of the same name. Usagi Drop (film)
, also known as ''Usagi Drop'', is a 2011 Japanese drama film based on the manga of the same name by Yumi Unita. The film is directed by Sabu, and the screenplay was done by both Sabu and scriptwriter Tamio Hayashi. ''Bunny Drop'' stars actor Kenichi Matsuyama, who plays Daikichi, an office worker and a single man. Child actress Mana Ashida also plays Rin, a six-year-old illegitimate child of Daikichi's grandfather, in the film. Yuthlert Sippapak ( th, ยุทธเลิศ สิปปภาค, born November 8, 1966 in Loei, Thailand) is a Thai film director, screenwriter and producer. He is best known for his genre-blending films '' Killer Tattoo'' (comedy and action) and ''Buppah Rahtree'' (comedy and horror). Biography Growing up in northeast Thailand, Yuthlert developed a strong interest in the arts from an early age and at 18 went to Bangkok to study fine arts at Silpakorn University, where he received a degree in interior design (the same program as another Thai director, Wisit Sasanatieng). Yuthlert set up his own design company, which he worked at for a year before his interest waned. He then moved to New York City, where he studied at the Art Students League of New York. Orhan Oğuz
Orhan Ghazi ( ota, اورخان غازی; tr, Orhan Gazi, also spelled Orkhan, 1281 – March 1362) was the second bey of the Ottoman Beylik from 1323/4 to 1362. He was born in Söğüt, as the son of Osman I. In the early stages of his reign, Orhan focused his energies on conquering most of northwestern Anatolia.
