Longboat Key, Florida
Longboat Key is a town in Manatee and Sarasota counties along the central west coast of the U.S. state of Florida, located on and coterminous with the barrier island of the same name. Longboat Key is south of Anna Maria Island, between Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. It is almost equally divided between Manatee and Sarasota counties. The town of Longboat Key was incorporated in 1955 and is part of the Bradenton– Sarasota–Venice Metropolitan Statistical Area. Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Bogomolov Jr. (russian: Александр Александрович «Алекс» Богомолов; born April 23, 1983), nicknamed Bogie, is a Russian-American retired professional tennis player. Tennis career Bogomolov's father, Alex Sr., was a former Soviet national tennis coach who worked with Larisa Neiland, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, and Andrei Medvedev. Born in Moscow, Russia, the 5' 10" Bogomolov was the no. 1 ranked USTA player for the 18s section in 200 and had a career-high ranking of world no. 33 on October 31, 2011. In 1998, Bogomolov won the United States Tennis Association, USTA National Boys' 16 Championships, defeating Andy Roddick in the final. Alex Kuznetsov (born February 5, 1987) is a retired American professional tennis player. He is a former hitting partner of Maria Sharapova Personal life Kuznetsov was born in Ukraine. His family moved to the United States when he was 3 years old, settling just outside Philadelphia. He resides in Tampa, Florida, where he trains at Saddlebrook Resort Club. Wayne Odesnik
Wayne Odesnik (born November 21, 1985) is a South African-born American retired professional left-handed tennis player, with a two-handed backhand. His highest singles ranking was No. 77 in 2009. Among his biggest upsets were a 2007 win over Ivan Ljubičić, and a 2009 win against Igor Kunitsyn. Odesnik won his first Futures title in 2003, and won a combined 14 singles titles in Challenger and Future ITF Men's Circuit events. He resides in Weston, Florida, in the United States. In March 2010, Odesnik pleaded guilty to importing human growth hormone into Australia, and was banned for two years by the International Tennis Federation, later reduced to one year on account of his "substantial assistance" with the Federation's anti-doping program. Pierre-Ludovic Duclos-Lasnier, commonly referred to as Pierre-Ludovic Duclos, (born January 8, 1986) is a Canadian former professional tour tennis player. In 2014 he was sentenced to six-years in prison for attempting to have a sexual encounter with a 13-year-old girl. Duclos has appeared in six ATP World Tour main draw matches, winning one of two singles matches and one of three in doubles. He has also captured four ATP Challenger events, all in doubles. Philip Bester
Philip Bester (born October 6, 1988) is a Canadian former professional tennis player from North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Bester was a finalist at the 2006 junior French Open. In doing so he became the first Canadian male to reach a Grand Slam final in singles. As a junior Bester was coached by his dad Alek Bester from age 5 when he started. Alek, a long time P.E. teacher at York House School in Vancouver, was the core of Philip's physical and tennis development till around the age of 16. Mac Styslinger (born September 6, 1993) is an American former professional tennis player. Styslinger grew up in the Birmingham suburb of Mountain Brook and trained at the IMG Bollettieri Academy in Florida. He is the son of tennis player Mark Styslinger, a two-time All-American for SMU who also achieved a world ranking. A top-30 junior, Styslinger made the boys' singles quarter-finals of the 2011 Australian Open, beating Nick Kyrgios en route. Lester Cook (born April 24, 1984) is an American former professional tennis player. As a junior, he was top 5 in the country in the 18 and under division, finishing 4th place at the prestigious Kalamazoo Hard Court Nationals and 3rd in the International Grass Court and International Hard Court championships that same year. Ryan Harrison (born May 7, 1992) is an American professional tennis player. Harrison has won one career ATP title in singles at the 2017 Memphis Open to go along with four in doubles, including the 2017 French Open. Before turning 16, Harrison was regarded a prodigy after cracking the top 10 in the junior rankings and becoming one of the youngest players ever to win an ATP match. Éric Prodon (born 27 June 1981) is a former French professional tennis player. Juniors career Prodon had a long career in Juniors, playing from 1997 to 1999 and reaching year-end No. 28 in 1998. In matches against future top pros, he beat Mikhail Youzhny and Julien Benneteau in 1997. Early in 1998, he lost to Jarkko Nieminen, and late in the year, he beat Roger Federer, Karol Beck, and Guillermo Coria in successive rounds at Eddie Herr before losing to David Nalbandian in the final. Brian Dabul (; born 24 February 1984) is an Argentine retired tennis player. He was ranked the No. 1 junior in the world in January 2002.
