2011 Purdue Boilermakers Football Team
The 2011 Purdue Boilermakers football team represented Purdue University in the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Under third-year head coach Danny Hope, Purdue compiled a record of 7–6 and finished in third place in the newly formed Leaders Division of the Big Ten Conference. They played their home games at Ross–Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana and are members of the Big Ten Conference. Highlights of Purdue's 2011 season included a 21–14 victory over #21 Illinois, a 26–23 overtime victory over Ohio State, and the first bowl game since 2007. Purdue's season ended with a 37–32 victory against Western Michigan in the 2011 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl. Danny Hope
Charles Daniel Hope (born January 7, 1959) is an American football coach and former player. He served as the head football coach at Eastern Kentucky University from 2003 to 2007, and Purdue University from 2009 to 2012, compiling a career college football record of 57 wins and 49 losses. He was most recently the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the South Florida Bulls football team before stepping down after one season for family reasons. Coaching career Hope was the head football coach at Eastern Kentucky University from 2003 to 2007. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky and also was a player at Eastern Kentucky. Before arriving at Eastern Kentucky, Hope was the offensive coordinator at Louisville. 2011 Indiana Hoosiers Football Team
The 2011 Indiana Hoosiers football team represented Indiana University Bloomington during the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season in the new Leaders Division of the Big Ten Conference. The 2011 season was the first for new head coach Kevin Wilson, formerly the offensive coordinator at Oklahoma. The Hoosiers played their home games at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana. They finished the season 1–11, 0–8 in Big Ten play to place last in the Leaders Division. Before the season The Hoosiers entered the season with a new outlook on the football program, after athletic director Fred Glass fired former head coach Bill Lynch and his staff and brought in Oklahoma offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson. Council Rock High School North
Council Rock High School North is a high school located in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is a part of the Council Rock School District. The school is located across from Newtown Middle School and Tyler State Park, and near Bucks County Community College. The current student population is 1,588 for grades 9–12. The school is three stories tall and is divided into an East wing and a West wing. Until 2006, there was no direct connection between the third floors on each wing, so students and staff had to use hallways on the first or second floor to cross between wings. Los Angeles Harbor College (LAHC) is a public community college in Wilmington, California. It is one of two community colleges serving the South Bay region of Los Angeles. The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. Ricardo Jamal Allen (born December 18, 1991) is a former American football free safety and coach who is an offensive assistant for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). Joe Holland (born August 20, 1988) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent in 2012. High school career Holland attended Bishop Chatard High School in Indianapolis, where he played football, basketball, and ran track. Kawann Arcell Short (born February 2, 1989) is an American football defensive tackle who is a free agent. He was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He played college football at Purdue. Early years Short was born in East Chicago, Indiana. He went to Central High School in East Chicago. There, he was a two-sport athlete playing both football and basketball. Ryan Kerrigan
Patrick Ryan Kerrigan (born August 16, 1988) is an American football coach and former outside linebacker and defensive end who is the assistant defensive line coach for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Purdue, where he was recognized as a unanimous All-American as a senior before being drafted by Washington in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Kerrigan played the majority of his 11-year career as an outside linebacker in the 3–4 defense, where he is the all-time NFL leader in consecutive starts by a left outside linebacker. Caleb Stephen TerBush (born January 5, 1990) is a former American football quarterback. He played for the Purdue University Boilermakers and was briefly signed by the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League from May to August 2013.
