The 2011 Nürburgring GP3 Series round was a GP3 Series motor race held on July 23 and 24, 2011 at Nürburgring, Germany. It is the fifth round of the 2011 GP3 Series. Nürburgring
The is a 150,000 person capacity motorsports complex located in the town of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It features a Formula One, Grand Prix race track built in 1984, and a long "North loop" track, built in the 1920s, around the village and medieval castle of Nürburg in the Eifel mountains. The north loop is long and contains more than of elevation change from its lowest to highest points. Jackie Stewart nicknamed the track "The Green Hell". Originally, the track featured four configurations: the -long ("Whole Course"), which in turn consisted of the ("North Loop") and the ("South Loop"). Mücke Motorsport is an auto racing team based in Germany, which is also known as ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg. History Single-seaters Mücke Motorsport was formed by Peter Mücke in 1998 to run his son Stefan Mücke in the German Formula BMW ADAC series, in which they were champions. Stefan and the team moved to German Formula Three in 1999, where the driver finished runner-up in 2001. Also in 2001, Markus Winkelhock joined the team. After Stefan left Formula 3 for the DTM in 2002, Winkelhock was joined by Sven Heidfeld and Marcel Lasée. Ivan Andreyevich Lukashevich ( rus, Ива́н Андре́евич Лукаше́вич, p=ɪˈvan ɐnˈdrʲejɪvʲɪtɕ lʊkɐˈʂevʲɪtɕ, born 9 May 1991) is a Russian racing driver. He was part of the Marussia Motors driver development programme. Career Karting Born in Moscow, Lukashevich competed in karting from 2001 to 2005. In 2001 and 2002 he took the Mini Class title of the Moscow Karting Championship. He also won the Russian Karting Cup in 2002. Formula Palmer Audi Lukashevich's next step was Formula Palmer Audi. Simon Trummer (born 8 June 1989 in Frutigen, Canton of Bern) is a racing driver from Switzerland. Career Karting Trummer began his motorsport career in karting back in 2003, finishing second in the Swiss Junior Championship. He also finished 21st in the Andrea Margutti Trophy ICA Junior class. Formula Lista Junior Trummer moved up to single-seaters in 2006, competing in Formula Lista Junior. He finished eighteenth overall in the championship with ten points. Formula Renault Trummer joined the BMS Böhlen Motorsport team in 2007, to compete in the Formule Renault 2.0 Suisse championship. Tamás Pál Kiss (born 19 May 1991 in Miskolc) is a Hungarian auto racing driver. Career Karting Kiss made his karting début in 1998 when he was seven years old. During ten years he scored three titles in Hungarian Championships Formula Renault After competing in regional Hungarian Championship E-2000 in 2007 and 2008, Kiss moved into the LO Formule Renault 2.0 Suisse in 2008 and finished fourteenth with points-scoring finishes in six in the eight races with Speed Box ASE. Aaro Vainio (born 2 October 1993 in Espoo) is a Finnish racing driver, currently contesting in ADAC GT Masters. Career Karting Vainio has enjoyed a successful karting career. He won the Finnish championship in 2007, and in 2008 he won the European KF3 Championship and the Junior Monaco Kart Cup. In 2009 he was runner-up in the CIK-FIA Karting World Championship and won the European KF1 Champion. Marussia Motors (russian: Маруся ) was a Russian sports car company founded in 2007. It was the first Russian company to produce a supercar.
