Montreux
Montreux (, , ; frp, Montrolx) is a Swiss municipality and town on the shoreline of Lake Geneva at the foot of the Alps. is a former Japanese volleyball player who played for Toray Arrows. She was served as captain of the team since 2013. She was also part of the Japanese team that won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She was retired from being volleyball player in 2015. Montreux Volley Masters
The Montreux Volley Masters (founded as the Coupe des Nations, later changed to BCV Volley Cup between 1990 and 1996 and to its current name in 1998) is an international invitational tournament for national teams in women's volleyball hosted by the Swiss Volley. Held annually in Montreux, Switzerland since 1984, it is the tournament that opens the international season for national teams. The main objective of this competition is to work as a preparation for more important and prestigious volleyball tournaments organized by the ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB), such as the World Grand Prix, the World Championship, the World Cup and the Olympic Games. Many national teams use the tournament as a way of giving experience and international baggage to young players and, as a result, countries are often represented by their underage national teams. Christiane Fürst (born 29 March 1985 in Dresden) is a retired Germany, German female volleyball player. She plays for Turkey, Turkish side Eczacıbaşı VitrA. Career She won a bronze medal at the 2003 Women's European Volleyball Championship. Fürst was named Best Blocker at the 2006 and 2010 World Championships. She won the Women's CEV Cup 2007–08, 2007–08 CEV Cup with the Italian team Robursport Volley Pesaro, Scavolini Pesaro, and was named "Best Spiker". She won the bronze medal at the Women's CEV Champions League 2010–11, 2010–11 CEV Champions League with Fenerbahçe Acıbadem. Yukiko Ebata (江畑 幸子 ''Ebata Yukiko'', born November 7, 1989) is a retired Japanese volleyball player who played for the PFU BlueCats and was a member of the Japan women's national volleyball team. She was a member of Japan's bronze medal-winning 2012 Olympic volleyball team. She married to Shun Takahashi who is coach of Victorina Himeji. Career Ebata is from Tsuchizaki-Minato, Akita-shi, Akita prefecture. Her parents are volleyball players, she started playing volleyball when she is in her 3rd year in elementary school. She also has an older brother who also played volleyball. Elena Keldibekova (born 23 June 1974 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, USSR) is a Kazakhstani-Peruvian retired volleyball player who played as setter for the Peru national team. Personal life Keldibekova was born in Kazakhstan to a family of Russian origin. She moved to Peru when she was 19 years old to play one season for the Club Regatas volleyball club, but decided to stay in the country after the season was over. She is married to Johnny Westreicher, a Peruvian former volleyball player of German ancestry. The two met during her time at Club Regatas, as her then coach for the team. With Westreicher, Keldibekovava had a son named Jan. Keldibekova is fluent in German, Russian and Spanish. Career Keldibekova arrived to Peru and played the 1996/97 season with Regatas Lima.
