Extra Time (association Football)
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. Victory Sportif Club, commonly known as Victory, is a Haitian professional football club based in Port-au-Prince. History Early years Victory Sportif Club was founded by Augustin R. Viau on 7 March 1945. History The notion of establishing a football club named Club Valencia arose in the late 1970s from the players of blue and gold teams participating in the Junior Football Pool organized by National Sports Academy. The first two names proposed to the government for approval as the name of the club were Youth Recreation Movement and Juvenile Valencia Atletico; both were rejected. New Radiant Sports Club is a Maldivian professional football club based in Henveiru – Malé, Maldives. The club was founded on 19 August 1979 by Ahmed Waheed and his friend Ahammadhanik. New Radiant has won all domestic competitions being held in the Maldives and the club is the most successful in the Maldives in terms of trophies won and is also the most successful Maldivian club in the international arena. Maziya Sports and Recreation Club is a Maldivian professional football club based in Malé. They compete in the Dhivehi Premier League, the country's top division. The 2012 AFC Cup was the ninth edition of the AFC Cup, a football competition organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for clubs from "developing countries" in Asia.
