Christopher Sutton (born 10 September 1984) is an Australian former professional cyclist from Australia, who rode professionally between 2005 and 2015 for the , and squads. Born in Caringbah, Sydney, New South Wales, Sutton trained as a carpenter. He is the son of NSW Institute of Sport's head cycling coach, Gary Sutton, and nephew of British Cycling track coach, Shane Sutton; both ex-professional cyclists. He began cycling at the age of 11, and turned professional in 2005, riding the UCI ProTour for the team. For the 2008 season, Sutton signed with , later renamed . Yauheni Hutarovich (born 29 November 1983) is a Belarusian former road racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 2007 and 2016 for the , , and teams. He currently works as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental team . Career In the 2009 Tour de France, Hutarovich was the lanterne rouge, or the last placed overall rider in the general classification (GC). On stage 2 of the 2010 Vuelta a España, Hutarovich surprised everyone as he jumped from the wheel of Mark Cavendish to claim his first Grand Tour stage win, besting other top sprinters such as Tyler Farrar and Alessandro Petacchi. Hutarovich left at the end of the 2012 season, and joined on a two-year contract from the 2013 season onwards. In September 2014 announced that they had signed Hutarovich on a one-year deal for 2015. The 63rd edition of Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne was won by Dutch rider Bobby Traksel. The race was affected by heavy rainfall from start to finish. Only 26 riders finished. Race report The race was run in extreme weather, as the remnants of cyclone Xynthia hit Belgium, with strong winds and torrential rain causing the peloton to shatter early. Many abandoned the race before half-course, including favourites Tom Boonen and Filippo Pozzato. The route had to be shortened by 20 km because a fallen tree obstructed the road up the Côte de Trieu. The 2011 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad took place on 26 February 2011. It was the 66th edition of the international classic Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. This year's Omloop started and ended at St. Peter's Square in Ghent, Belgium and spanned 203 kilometers in the province of East Flanders. The race was the first 1.HC event in the 2011 UCI World Ranking. This year's edition of the race featured more cobblestones when compared to previous editions, as it crossed a 2 kilometer cobblestone section three times. Former rider and race organizer Peter Van Petegem also decreased the number of climbs from twelve to nine, notably omitting the infamous Muur van Geraardsbergen. According to the race organization, the race course was "slightly tough nedoverall". Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne is an annual single-day road cycling race in Belgium. It is held one day after Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, on the last Sunday of February or the first of March, and completes the opening weekend of the Belgian cycling season. It is ranked a 1.HC event of the UCI Europe Tour. Tom Boonen holds the most wins with three victories. History Early editions First held in 1946, the race was run from Kuurne, a small town known for its textile industry, to the Belgian capital of Brussels and back. In the 1950s it served as the opening race of the Belgian cycling season. When Brussels was becoming inaccessible for a cycling event in the late 1960s, the race was rerouted towards the Flemish Ardennes and renamed "Omloop der beide Vlaanderen" ''("Circuit of both Flanders")''. Edvald Boasson Hagen (born 17 May 1987) is a Norwegian professional road racing cyclist, who rides for UCI ProTeam . He was ranked as no. 3 in the world by UCI as of 31 August 2009, when he was 22 years old.
