It was re-launched again in 2007 as ''King's Cup of Champions'', and was played by only the top 6 finishers of the Professional League plus the Crown Prince Cup and Federation Cup winners. Since 2014, it was renamed as ''King's Cup'', the competition returned to its roots by implementing the old format. 153 clubs have taken part in the tournament. Al-Ahli Saudi Football Club ( ar, النادي الأهلي السعودي) is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Jeddah, that competes in the second division of Saudi Arabian football, following their relegation from the Saudi Professional League in the 2021–22 season. The club was founded in 1937. Domestically, Al-Ahli has won three Saudi Professional Leagues, holds record of 13 King's Cups, six Crown Prince Cups, one General League Shield, and one Super Cup. The King Fahd Stadium (), also nicknamed "Pearl of Stadiums" ( ) or simply "the Pearl" ( ), is a multi-purpose stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Abdelmalek Ziaya (born 23 January 1984) is an Algerian footballer who plays for Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 club USM Annaba. Career ES Sétif Ziaya was born in Guelma. Bader Ahmed al-Mutawa ( ar, بدر أحمد المطوع; born 10 January 1985) is a Kuwaiti professional footballer who plays for Qadsia and the Kuwait national team, where he usually operates as a second striker. Yousef Al-Salem ( ar, يوسف السالم, born 4 May 1985) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who currently plays for Al-Jubail as a striker.
