2011 Imola GP2 Asia Series Round
The 2011 Imola GP2 Asia Series round was a pair of motor races held on 19 and 20 March 2011 at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Emilia-Romagna, Italy as part of the GP2 Asia Series. It was the season-ending round of the 2011 GP2 Asia Series and was a standalone event after the two Bahrain rounds scheduled for February and March 2011 were cancelled due to civil unrest in the country. The first event, a 35-lap feature race, was won by DAMS driver Romain Grosjean from pole position. Giedo van der Garde finished second for Barwa Addax Team and Lotus ART racer Jules Bianchi was third. The next day, Dani Clos of Racing Engineering won the 25-lap sprint race with Rapax's Fabio Leimer and van der Garde second and third. Autodromo Enzo E Dino Ferrari
The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988), and his son, Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari (1932–1956). Before Enzo's death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence. Imola was the venue for the San Marino Grand Prix between 1981 and 2006. During this period, two Grands Prix were held in Italy every year, with the Italian Grand Prix taking place at Monza, so the Imola race was named after the nearby state. Imola also hosted the 1980 Italian Grand Prix in place of Monza. In a motorsports race, the pole position is usually the best and "statistically the most advantageous" starting position on the track. Josef Král (born 15 June 1990 in Dvůr Králové nad Labem) is a professional Auto racing, racing driver from the Czech Republic. Career Karting & early career Král began his motorsport career in karting back in 1998, and during the following seven years he achieved notable success, winning the Czech Republic Intercontinental A, ICA Junior title in 2003 and the Czech ICA 100 Championship the following year, as well as numerous other titles. Marcus Ericsson
Marcus Thorbjörn Ericsson (; born 2 September 1990) is a Swedish professional racing driver. He competes in the NTT IndyCar Series, driving the No. 8 Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing and is the 2022 Indianapolis 500 winner. Ericsson previously competed in Formula One between 2014 and 2018. The Losail International Circuit or Lusail International Circuit (Arabic: حلبة لوسيل الدولية) is a motor racing circuit located just outside the city of Lusail, north of Doha, Qatar.
