2011 I-League U19
The 2011 I-League U19 was the third edition of the I-League U19. All teams played the other teams in their group once and the group winners (4 group winners) play 3 final fixtures against each other, producing 6 games a season for the group winners and just 3 games for the other teams that did not make the final stage. JCT won the title on better goal difference. League Tables The first phase of the U-19 Football Tournament for I-League teams was held from 26 April – 6 May 2011 at four venues. Group A saw teams from Goa battling out for a place in the final round. Dempo, Salgaocar, Churchill Brothers and Sporting Clube de Goa are clubbed in Group A. Kolkata hosted Group B encounters which featured East Bengal, Mohun Bagan, Chirag United and Shillong Lajong. JCT Football Academy
Jagatjit Cotton & Textile Football Club (formerly known as JCT Mills FC; abbreviated as both JCT FC, or simply JCT) was an Indian professional football club based in Phagwara, Punjab. Founded in 1971, the club was sponsored by Jagatjit Cotton and Textile Mills under the leadership of Samir Thapar and participated in the National Football League which was later renamed I-League. They also participated in Punjab State Super Football League under licence from Punjab Football Association. The club was disbanded in 2011. Nicknamed "the millmen", JCT have won many tournaments and brought laurels to the State of Punjab. They won the inaugural edition of the National Football League in 1996. Abinas Ruidas is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Madan Maharaj. Career East Bengal Born in Budge Budge, West Bengal, Ruidas began his career with the youth sides at Mohun Bagan and Bhawanipore. Pankaj Moula (born 21 December 1992 in Garia in West Bengal) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bhawanipore in the I-League 2nd Division. The East Bengal Ground, also known as East Bengal–Aryan Ground, is the home stadium of East Bengal and Aryan. The stadium has a capacity of 23,500 people.
