Spencer Pigot
Spencer James Pigot (born September 29, 1993) is an American racing driver who currently drives in the IMSA SportsCar Championship. Personal life Pigot was born in Los Angeles and raised Pasadena, California, and Orlando where he graduated from Windermere Preparatory School. He currently resides in Indianapolis. Racing career Early career After a successful career in youth karting, Pigot joined the Skip Barber National Championship in 2010 and won the title and a Mazdaspeed scholarship. He was also awarded the Team USA Scholarship to compete in the Formula Ford Festival in England. Donington Park
Donington Park is a motorsport circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. The circuit business is now owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, and the surrounding Donington Park Estate, still owned by the Wheatcroft family, is currently under lease by MotorSport Vision until 2038. It has a capacity of 120,000, and is also the venue of the Download Festival. Originally part of the Donington Hall estate, it was created as a racing circuit during the period between the First and Second World Wars when the German Silver Arrows were battling for the European Championship. 2011 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters Season
The 2011 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season was a multi-event motor racing series largely based in Germany for highly modified touring car racing cars and is one of the most popular sedan car-based motor racing series in the world. The series features professional racing teams and drivers and is heavily supported by car manufacturers Audi and Mercedes-Benz. Each race features 18 V8-powered racing cars built according to the technical regulations of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. 2011 Masters Of Formula 3
The 2011 Masters of Formula 3 was the twenty-first Masters of Formula 3 race, and was held at Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands on 14 August 2011. The race was won by Felix Rosenqvist, for Mücke Motorsport, who took advantage of a start-line collision between Spanish Prema Powerteam teammates Daniel Juncadella and Roberto Merhi. Marco Wittmann finished second, whilst Kevin Magnussen became the first regular from the British series to appear on the podium since Adam Carroll in 2004 by finishing third. Despite his disqualification for causing the accident with Daniel Juncadella, Roberto Merhi sealed the inaugural FIA Formula 3 International Trophy at this race on the virtue of his closest rival, Marco Wittmann, failing to win the race. 2011 British GT Season
The 2011 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 19th season of the British GT Championship. The season began on 25 April at Oulton Park and finished on 8 October at Silverstone, after ten races at seven meetings. On 22 November 2010, the SRO Motorsports Group announced changes to the structure of the 2011 season including a reduced calendar, however still with the inclusion of an overseas event. The 2011 Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series (an international motor racing series), was the 61st British Formula 3 International Series season. The season began on 16 April at Monza in Italy and ended on 9 October at Silverstone after 30 races held at ten meetings. Oulton Park is a hard surfaced track used for motor racing, close to the village of Little Budworth, Cheshire, England. It is about from Winsford, from Chester city centre, from Northwich and from Warrington, with a nearby rail connection along the Mid-Cheshire Line.
