Asian Judo Championships is the Judo Asian Championship organized by the Judo Union of Asia. The men's tournament began in 1966 and was held approximately every four years, until 1991, when it became an annual event (except in the years when the Asian Games have been held.) The women's tournament was first staged in 1981, and it has been held with the men's tournament every year, except in 1984/5. Kim Sung-Min (born 29 June 1987) is a South Korean judoka. He graduated from Yong In University. At the 2008 Asian Judo Championships, his first international adult competition, he won a gold medal. He went on to win a bronze medal in the 2011 World Judo Championships. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he reached the semi-finals where he lost to eventual champion Teddy Riner. Abdullo Tangriev
Abdullo Tangriev (born 28 March 1981) is an Uzbek judoka. He won a silver medal in the +100 kg category of the 2008 Olympic Games. Early life Abdullo Tangriev was born on 28 March 1981, in Surxondaryo Region. He was engaged with judo from the age 10. From 1995 he started training in Chirchiq Olympics school. Tuvshinbayar Naidan ( mn, Найдангийн Түвшинбаяр born 1 June 1984) is a former professional Mongolian judoka. He is the 2008 Olympic Champion, 2012 Olympic silver medalist, 2014 Asian games champion, 2017 Budapest Bronze medalist, 2016 Asian championship Gold medalist, 2007 silver medalist and two-time (2008, 2011) bronze medalist in –100 kg division. Hwang Hee-tae
Hwang Hee-Tae (born June 12, 1978 in Sinan County, Jeollanam-do) is a male South Korean Judoka. He won a gold medal in the men's -90 kg division at the 2003 World Judo Championships in Osaka, Japan, by defeating the 2004 Olympic champion Zurab Zviadauri from Georgia in the final. Hwang also won a gold medal at the Doha Asian Games in 2006. Ramziddin Sayidov (born 14 April 1982) is an Uzbekistani judoka. Participating at the 2004 Olympics, he was stopped in the round of 32 by Siarhei Shundzikau of Belarus. Dilshod Choriev (born 3 July 1985 in Qashqadaryo, Uzbekistan) is an Uzbek judoka. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the –90 kg event.
