2011 All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship
The 2011 All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship—known as the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship in association with RTÉ Sport for sponsorship reasons— is the premier competition of the 2011 camogie season. It commenced on 11 June 2011 and ended with the final on 11 September. Eight county teams compete in the Senior Championship out of twenty-seven who compete overall in the Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championships. Wexford defeated Galway in the final, avenging a surprise 11-point defeat in the round-robin stage of the championship. Structure The eight teams played one another once, and receive 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw. The top four teams then contested the semi-finals. Ursula Jacob
Ursula Jacob is a camogie player, winner of All Star awards in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014. All-Ireland Senior medals in 2007, 2010 2011 and 2012, in 2011 she scored a dramatic 52nd-minute goal which changed the course of the All Ireland final and secured victory for Wexford. She was player of the match in Wexford's semi-final victory over Cork and a member of the Team of the Championship for 2011. With a total of 3–54 she was the highest scoring player in the Senior Championship of 2011. Katrina Mackey (born 1992 in Cork) is a camogie player and scientist. winner of All Ireland Camogie medals in 2009, 2014, 2015 2017 and 2018 All Stars award winner in 2012, 2014, 2016 2017and 2018 She is twin sister of Pamela, who is also on the Cork camogie panel, she won a Munster championship and an All Ireland, coming on as a sub, in her first season on the panel. Katrina Parrock (born 2 September 1990) is an Irish camogie player, winner of All-Ireland Senior medals in 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2012 and an All Star award winner in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Joachim Kelly
Joachim Kelly (born 2 December 1955) is an Irish hurling manager and former player. He is manager of the Offaly senior hurling team. Kelly played for club side Lusmagh and was a member of the Offaly senior hurling team for 19 seasons, during which time he usually lined out at midfield. Kelly began his hurling career at club level with Lusmagh. He broke onto the club's top adult team as a 15-year-old in 1971 and enjoyed his first success in 1973 when the club won the Offaly Junior Championship. Kelly later won an Offaly Senior Championship medal in 1989 when Lusmagh won their first and only title. He ended his club career with the Lusmagh junior B in 2003.
