2010–11 Valparaiso Crusaders Men's Basketball Team
The 2010–11 Valparaiso Crusaders men's basketball team represented Valparaiso University in the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Homer Drew. The Crusaders played their home games at the Athletics-Recreation Center and are members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 23–12, 12–6 in Horizon League play. Homer Drew
Homer Walter Drew Jr. (born September 29, 1944) is an American former college basketball coach and administrator who coached at Washington State Cougars men's basketball, Washington State, LSU, Bethel College (Indiana), Bethel College, Indiana-South Bend, and Valparaiso Crusaders men's basketball, Valparaiso. He retired from college basketball in 2011 with 640 career wins, which ranked him sixth amongst all Division I coaches at the time of his retirement. Drew was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. Drew made 10 National Tournament appearances and seven NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, NCAA tournament appearances in his career. The 2010–11 Northern Colorado Bears men's basketball team represented Northern Colorado University during the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bears, led by first year head coach B. J. Hill, played their home games at the Butler–Hancock Sports Pavilion and are members of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 21–11, 13–3 in Big Sky play to capture the Big Sky regular season championship. Athletics Center O'rena is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It is home to the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball teams. Savage Arena (formerly John F. Savage Hall and Centennial Hall) is a multi-purpose arena located in Toledo, Ohio, on the campus of the University of Toledo. The 2010–11 Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball team represented Purdue University. The head coach was Matt Painter, in his sixth season with the Boilers. Credit Union 1 Arena (previously known as UIC Pavilion) is a multi-purpose arena located at 525 S. Racine Avenue on the Near West Side in Chicago, Illinois, which opened in 1982.
