2010–11 Turkish Cup
The 2010–11 Turkish Cup was the 49th edition of the annual tournament that determined the association football Süper Lig Turkish Cup ( tr, Türkiye Kupası) champion under the auspices of the Turkish Football Federation ( tr, Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu; TFF). Beşiktaş successfully defeated İstanbul B.B. in the final. This tournament was conducted under the UEFA Cup system having replaced at the 44th edition a standard knockout competition scheme. Beşiktaş advanced to the play-off round of the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League and qualified for the 2011 Turkish Super Cup. Trabzonspor were eliminated in the group stage. Trabzonspor (defending champions), Bursaspor (1st, Süper Lig), Fenerbahçe (2nd), and Galatasaray (3rd), automatically qualified for the group stage. Trabzonspor
Trabzonspor Kulübü is a Turkish sports club located in the city of Trabzon. Formed in 1967 through a merger of several local clubs, the men's football team has won seven Süper Lig championships. Trabzonspor also have a women's football team, and used to have a men's basketball team. Trabzonspor are one of the most decorated clubs in Turkey. They have won seven Süper Lig titles and were the first non Istanbul-based club to win the league. They also have won nine Federation Cup (Turkish Cup) titles. The club won their first championship title in 1975–76, and won three championship titles in a row in the 1978–79, 1979–80 and 1980–81. Güngören is an industrial and working class residential district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is located near the district of Bakırköy on the Çatalca Peninsula in the western half of Istanbul Province. TFF First League
The TFF 1. Lig, officially known as Spor Toto 1. Lig for sponsorship reasons, is the second level of the Turkish football league system. The league was founded in 2001 as the ''Turkish Second League Category A'' after the reorganization of the Second Football League, which was the second level of the Turkish league system between 1963 and 2001. The league was called ''Türk Telekom Lig A'' in the 2006–2007 season, and was renamed to ''TFF First League'' prior to the 2007–08 season. As of 16 January 2008 the league was renamed as Bank Asya 1. Lig. In April 2012 Bank Asya withdrew as sponsor of the league. During the 2012-2016 seasons the league was known under the terms of a sponsorship deal as the PTT 1. Lig.
