2010–11 Northeastern Huskies Women's Ice Hockey Season
Offseason *September 20: In the preseason Hockey East poll, the Huskies were ranked fifth. Northeastern earned 34 points, one point behind fourth-place New Hampshire. The 2010–11 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season began in October, ending with the 2011 NCAA Division I Women's Ice Hockey Tournament's championship game in March, 2011. 2011 MLP Cup
The 2011 MLP Nations Cup was a women's ice hockey tournament that featured five countries' national teams in addition to Canada, who played with their national under-22 team. Boston College Eagles Women's Ice Hockey
The Boston College Eagles women's ice hockey team represent Boston College in the NCAA and participate in Hockey East. The Eagles are coached by former Olympic gold medallist Katie King-Crowley and play their home games at Conte Forum. They have won the Hockey East championship three times, and made seven trips to the Frozen Four of the NCAA tournament. History The Boston Eagles women's ice hockey program was launched in 1994, under head coach Tom O'Malley, who oversaw the development of the program for five years. In 1999, Tom Babson took the helm and coached for four seasons. In the early years, the team competed in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) but struggled to build a competitive program. Boston University Terriers Women's Ice Hockey
The Boston University Terriers women's ice hockey represent Boston University. The Terriers play in the Hockey East conference. From 2010 to 2015, the Terriers won five Hockey East Championships and made six consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. History 2020-2021 Hockey East announced plans in November for a modified season, due to the ongoing Covid19 pandemic. Teams will each play 18 games in a round robin format to determine the regular season champion. BU Terriers will play home and home series on weekends, with day of game travel, to allow time for testing, except when playing the Vermont Catamounts or Maine Black Bears. 2019-20 Boston University Terriers had a strong year and finished 24-8-4 overall, second in Hockey East. The Wisconsin Badgers women's ice hockey team represented the University of Wisconsin. The team finished the season by winning the school's fourth NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Championship. She scored her first collegiate goal on Oct. 8 vs. Colgate. The 2010–11 Vermont Catamounts season was their sixth in Hockey East. Led by head coach Tim Bothwell, the Catamounts were unable to qualify for the NCAA hockey tournament.
