2010–11 Marquette Golden Eagles Men's Basketball Team
The 2010–11 Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball team represented Marquette University in the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Marquette was coached by Buzz Williams in his second year at the school and played their home games at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee as members of the Big East Conference (1979–2013), Big East Conference. Buzz Williams
Brent Langdon "Buzz" Williams (born September 1, 1972) is an American basketball coach who is the head coach at Texas A&M University. He previously served as head coach at Virginia Tech from 2014 to 2019, Marquette from 2008 to 2014, and New Orleans during the 2006–07 season, and as an assistant coach at Texas-Arlington, Texas A&M–Kingsville, Northwestern State, Colorado State, and Texas A&M. Background and personal life Brent Langdon Williams grew up in Van Alstyne, Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Oklahoma City University in 1994 and a master's degree in the same field at Texas A&M University–Kingsville in 1999. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. Jamil Wilson (born November 21, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Club Nacional de Football of the Uruguayan Liga Uruguaya de Básquetbol (LUB). He played college basketball for the University of Oregon and Marquette University. High school career Wilson attended Horlick High School in Racine, Wisconsin. Trevor Fitzgerald Booker (born November 25, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player who played eight seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Minnesota Timberwolves are an American professional basketball team based in Minneapolis. Nemanja Bjelica ( sr-cyr, Немања Бјелица, ; born 9 May 1988) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Fenerbahçe of the Basketball Super League and EuroLeague. He also represents the senior Serbian national basketball team internationally. Bjelica was an All-Euroleague First Team selection as well as the Euroleague MVP in 2015. Lazar Miller Hayward (born November 26, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player. He was a college standout for Marquette University. High school career Hayward went to Buffalo Traditional High School where he was an outstanding basketball player.
