2010–11 Macedonian Football Cup
The 2010–11 Macedonian Football Cup was the 19th season of Macedonia's football knockout competition. FK Teteks were the defending champions, having won their first title. The 2010–11 champions were FK Metalurg Skopje who won their first title. Competition calendar First round The draw was held on 7 July 2010 in Skopje. FK Teteks
FK Teteks ( mk, ФК Тетекс) is a football club from the city of Tetovo in North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History In 1946, there was a club from Tetovo called Šar Tetovo, and it competed in the Macedonian Republic League and Macedonian Cup. It won the Macedonian Cup two times in 1948 and 1950, and was successful in the Macedonian League. However, it was dissolved after a few years, mostly because of financial difficulties. Not much long after this, a new club was founded on the base of FK Šar, named Tekstilec. The club was founded in 1953, under the name FK Tekstilec. The founder of FK Teteks is the textile combine Teteks and because of this they are known as "Štofari" (Tailors). They were in the shadow of the older club FK Ljuboten (formed in 1919). FK Sileks
FK Sileks ( mk, ФК Силекс) is a football club based in Kratovo, North Macedonia who play in the Macedonian First League. History The club was founded in 1965. Sileks biggest accomplishment in 90s came in the Yugoslav Cup where they reached the quarter-final. It was a remarkable achievement considering they defeated both Sarajevo teams, FK Željezničar and FK Sarajevo in back to back rounds. Since the formation of the First Macedonian Football League, they played at top level from the start until their relegation in 2013. KF Drita Bogovinë ( mk, ФК Дрита Боговиње, FK Drita Bogovinje) is a football club based in Bogovinje, North Macedonia. GFK Tikvesh
GFK Tikvesh 1930 ( mk, Градски Фудбалски Клуб Тиквеш 1930), commonly referred to as Tikvesh, is a professional football club from Kavadarci, North Macedonia, that currently competes in the Macedonian First League. After playing at different home grounds in the early years, the club moved to Gradski Stadion Kavadarci on 19 March 1950 and have remained there since. The 'golden age' of the club came in the late 1960s and lasted throughout the entire 1970s. FK Pelister ( mk, ФК Пелистер) is a Macedonian football club based in the city of Bitola, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History FK Pelister, was formed in 1945. In 1946 they won the Bitola regional title and that same year they merged with Rabotnik. They won the Bitola title in 1950 and 1951 again. During that time the most influential players were: Georgievski, Dimitrovski, Petrovski, Naumovski, Lazarevski, Sekerdžievski, Avramovski, Nestorov and Eftimovski. Klubi i Futbollit Shkëndija () commonly known as Shkëndija, is a football club based in Tetovo, North Macedonia. Their home stadium is Ecolog Arena and they currently play in the Macedonian First League. In the 2010–11 season of the Macedonian First Football League, the club won its first major championship. KF Vllaznimi ( mk, ФК Влазними) is a football club based in Struga, North Macedonia. The club currently competes in the Macedonian Third League (Southwest Division). History In 1947 a group of young enthusiasts began activities to found a football club, where they could play during holidays and organize tournaments. Unanimously they decided to represent themselves by the name of the Albanian hero "Emin Duraku". In 1974 for political reasons, they gave the club a new name KF "Vllaznimi" meaning brotherhood.
