2010–11 Jordan League
The 2010–2011 Jordanian Pro League (known as the Al-Manaseer Jordanian Pro League, named after Ziad AL-Manaseer Companies Group for sponsorship reasons) was the 59th season of the top-flight football in Jordan. Al-Faisaly are the defending champions. Ittihad Al-Ramtha and Al-Karmel were relegated to the second level of Jordan football after ending the 2009–10 season in the bottom two places. Promoted from the second level were Al-Ahli (Amman) and Manshia Bani Hassan.The championship was won by Al-Wehdat, while Al-Ahli and Al-Hussein were relegated. A total of 12 teams participated. Jordan League
The Jordanian Pro League ( ar, الدوري الأردني للمحترفين) is a Jordanian professional league for men's football clubs and represents the top flight of Jordanian football. The championship consists of twelve competing teams in a home and away league system. The league not held in the years : 1948, 1953, 1957, 1958, 1967, 1968, 1969, and not finished in the 1998 in 2002 the league change calendar to a fall spring season. In 2020 the league return to a spring fall season. Competition format Competition There are 12 clubs in the Premier League. During the course of a season (from March to October) each club plays the others twice (a double round-robin system), once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents', for 22 games. Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored. Al-Wahdat
Al-Wehdat Sport Club ( ar, نادي الوحدات الرياضي}) is a Jordanian sport club founded in 1956. The club is based in and represents the Amman New Camp, a Palestinian refugee camp which is also known as Al-Wehdat. Al-Wehdat's home games are played at King Abdullah II Stadium (cap. 13,265). There are other sports offered in the club, such as volleyball, basketball and table tennis. History The club was founded in 1956 under the name Al-Wehdat Youth Center. Ar Ramtha
Ar-Ramtha ( ar, الرَّمثا, ar-Ramṯā), colloquially transliterated as Ar-Romtha ( ar, الرُّمثا, ar-Rumṯā), is a city situated in the far northwest of Jordan near the Jordan–Syria border, border with Syria.
