2010–11 Florida State Seminoles Men's Basketball Team
The 2010–11 Florida State Seminoles men's basketball team represented Florida State University during the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Seminoles, led by 9th year head coach Leonard Hamilton, played their home games at the Donald L. Tucker Center and were members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Seminoles finished the season 23–11, 11–5 in ACC play and lost in the quarterfinals of the 2011 ACC men's basketball tournament to Virginia Tech. They received an at-large bid in the 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament where they defeated Texas A&M in the second round and Notre Dame in the third round to advance to the ''Sweet Sixteen'' where they were defeated by Virginia Commonwealth. Leonard Hamilton
James Leonard Hamilton (born August 4, 1948) is an American basketball coach and the current men's basketball head coach at Florida State University. He is a former head coach at Oklahoma State University, the University of Miami, and for the National Basketball Association's Washington Wizards. In his 33 years as a collegiate head coach, his teams have qualified for 12 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournaments and 11 National Invitation Tournaments, highlighted by appearances in the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight (2018) and Sweet 16 (2011, 2019, 2021) with Florida State, as well as a Sweet 16 appearance with Miami (2000). Luke Loucks
Luke Isaac Rhoad Loucks (born April 1, 1990) is an American former professional basketball player and current coach. He played college basketball for Florida State, where he was a member of four straight NCAA Tournament teams and still holds the school record for most career games played. After playing professionally in Latvia, Cyprus, Belgium, Germany, and the NBA Development League, Loucks joined the Golden State Warriors organization in the summer of 2016 in a paid internship position. He served as a player development coach with the Warriors organization between 2017 and 2021. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings.
