The 2010/11 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup was the thirty-second World Cup season in freestyle skiing organised by International Ski Federation. The season started on 11 December 2010 and lasted until 20 March 2011. Pierre-Alexandre Rousseau (born October 6, 1979, in Drummondville, Quebec) is a Canadian freestyle skier who currently resides in Drummondville. Pierre-Alexandre Rousseau participates in the mogul discipline. Rousseau has been part of two historic sweeps of the medal podiums on the 2008-09 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup tour with Alexandre Bilodeau and Vincent Marquis. Pierre-Alexandre Rousseau was the world champion at the 2007 Freestyle Ski World Championships in the moguls event. Rousseau also achieved at silver in the moguls event of the 2001 World Championships at Blackcomb. Rukatunturi
Rukatunturi ( fi, Ruka) is a high fell and a ski resort in Kuusamo, Finland. Apart from downhill skiing, there are over 500 km of cross-country skiing tracks. Also snowmobiles can be rented to enjoy some of the area's 600 km of snowmobile routes (of which 100 km are safari organizers' private routes). Ruka is also the southern end of the Karhunkierros hiking trail. The total of trails in Ruka and Kuusamo area is: 160 km of hiking trails, 605 km of biking routes, 350 km of classified paddling routes (including class 1–4 whitewater paddling) and 100 km of boating routes. In winter 1954, the first slope, now called "Eturinne" ("Front Slope"), was opened. The current number of slopes is 29, operated with 20 ski lifts (one high-speed detachable chair with bubble). Voss () is a municipality and a traditional district in Vestland county, Norway. The administrative center of the municipality is the village of Vossevangen. Åre () is a locality and one of the leading Scandinavian ski resorts situated in Åre Municipality, Jämtland County, Sweden with 3,200 inhabitants in 2018. Jeremy Cota (born October 24, 1988) is an athlete on the U.S. Ski Team; he competes in the freestyle skiing events of Moguls and Dual Moguls. Early years Cota was born in Greenville, Maine and attended Carrabassett Valley Academy in Carrabassett, Maine. United States Ski Team Cota was the 2009 NorAm champion. His rookie season on the World Cup (2010), he had four top-15 results, including placing 6th in his first World Cup and 7th in his second, both in Deer Valley, Utah, on January 14 and 16, 2010, respectively. Mikaël Kingsbury
Mikaël Kingsbury (born July 24, 1992) is a Canadian freestyle skier and is the most accomplished mogul skier of all time. He achieved eminence early in his career after earning the 2009–10 FIS World Cup Rookie of the Year award. He is a nine-time FIS Freestyle World Cup title-holder for both moguls and overall freestyle, owning the records for most men's Moguls World Cup titles and Overall Freestyle World Cup titles. He also owns the records for career World Cup moguls victories with 71, and consecutive Freestyle World Cup event wins with 13. He is the first man to have won both the moguls and dual moguls World Championship events, and has won the most medals at the Freestyle World Championships of any male competitor in history, having won a medal in 11 of the 12 events he has competed in. Alexandre Bilodeau (; born September 8, 1987) is a Canadian retired freestyle skiing, freestyle skier from Rosemère, Rosemere, Quebec, Bilodeau currently resides in Montreal, Montreal, Quebec. Bilodeau won a gold medal in the Freestyle skiing at the 2010 Winter Olympics – Men's moguls, men's moguls at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, becoming the first Canadian to win a gold medal at an Olympic Games held in Canada.
