Dieter Hecking
Dieter-Klaus Hecking (; born 12 September 1964) is a German football manager for 1. FC Nürnberg and former professional player. He played for Hannover 96 and Eintracht Braunschweig. He returned to manage Hannover despite the long-standing and bitter rivalry between the two clubs. Managerial career Early career (2000–2004) On 1 July 2000, Hecking moved into management as he took over as manager at Regionalliga Nord outfit SC Verl. His first match was a 2–0 loss to Eintracht Braunschweig on 1 August 2000. However, Hecking's proclamations that he was seeking a new position irked the club to such an extent they fired him after just 20 games in charge. He was sacked on 31 January 2001. His final match was a 2–1 win to Tennis Borussia Berlin. Verl were in seventh place when Hecking was sacked. Papiss Demba Cissé (; born 3 June 1985) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 2 club Amiens. He formerly played for the Senegal national football team. Formerly of SC Freiburg, he once held the record of most goals scored by an African player in a single Bundesliga campaign – 22 in the 2010–11 season. Raphael Schäfer (Polish:'' Rafał Szafarczyk''; born 30 January 1979) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Biography Early years Raphael Schäfer was born in 1979 as a member of the German minority in the Upper Silesian town of Kędzierzyn-Koźle and in 1986 with his father emigrated from Poland as Aussiedler to settle in northern Germany. Raphael Schäfer learned German in a few months. Schäfer began his footballing career at SC Drispenstedt in a suburb of Hildesheim. Knut Kircher (born 2 February 1969) is a former German football referee who is based in Rottenburg am Neckar. He refereed for TSV Hirschau of the Württemberg Football Association. Refereeing career In 1998, he became a referee in the 2. Bundesliga. Kircher was then promoted to referee in the German Bundesliga for the 2001–02 season. In 2004, he became a FIFA referee. He officiated his first match on 8 September 2004; the World Cup qualifying match between Andorra and Romania (1–5). History The stadium was originally known as ''Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion'' (; en, Ulrich Haberland Stadium), named after a former chairman of Bayer, Bayer AG, the club's founders. Per Jörgen Nilsson (born 15 September 1982) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Starting off his career with IFK Timrå in 1998, he went on to represent GIF Sundsvall, AIK, Odd Greenland, 1899 Hoffenheim, and 1. FC Nürnberg before retiring at F.C. Copenhagen in 2016. Volksparkstadion
Volksparkstadion () is a football stadium in Hamburg, Germany, and is the home of Hamburger SV. History HSV actually have nothing to do with the origins of the stadium, even though they own the current arena. Before the club moved to the current site they played at Sportplatz at Rothenbaum. Bahrenfelder Stadion was the first stadium to be built on the site of the Volksparkstadion and the AOL Arena. It was inaugurated on 13 September 1925 with a match between FC Altona 93 and HSV. In front a crowd of 25,000, HSV lost 2–3. At the time the stadium was also known as Altonaer Stadion, however it was not the home ground of FC Altona 93 (it was Adolf-Jäger-Kampfbahn). Javier Horacio Pinola (born 24 February 1983) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a left-back. He started his career with Chacarita Juniors in 2000, but spent most of his professional career with Nürnberg, appearing in 286 competitive games and winning the 2007 German Cup.
