History

In Pakistan Television was first introduced in an exhibition near Mazar-e-Quaid on 16 September 1955. This event was arranged by American consulate in Karachi. The idea of establishing the television industry in Pakistan was conceived by the National Education Commission with the support of Ayub Khan (President of Pakistan), President Ayub Khan. Dastaan (2010 TV Series)
''Dastaan'' ( ur, , lit=The tale) is a Pakistani TV series based on the novel '' Bano'', by Razia Butt. Broadcast on Hum TV in 2010, it was dramatized by Samira Fazal. Based on the partition of the Indian Subcontinent and the resulting independence of Pakistan, the story takes place takes place between 1947 and 1956. The drama depicts the story of Bano, a girl from a close knit Muslim family living in Ludhiana (located in undivided Punjab) in the pre-1947 era. The story is about the trials and tribulations Bano faces after she decides to dedicate her life to the All-India Muslim League. ''Dastaan'' is the first project of its kind taken up by the Pakistani media. Director Haissam Hussain stated in an interview that production for the drama began months in advance, and that the filming itself only took a little over two months. Hum TV
Hum TV is a 24-hour Urdu General Entertainment TV channel based in Karachi, Pakistan. It was founded by Sultana Siddiqui and Duraid Qureshi. It is owned by Hum Network Limited and traded on Pakistan Stock Exchange as (HUMNL). Hum Network Limited was known as ''Eye Television Network Limited'' prior to 21 January 2011. Hum TV began its transmission on 17 January 2005. In March 2013, Hum Network held its first Hum Awards ceremony. As of 1 May 2018, Hum TV shut down its SD feed and is only available in HD in Pakistan. Main Abdul Qadir Hoon ( ur, ) (English: I am Abdul Qadir) is a Pakistani drama serial that aired on Hum TV every Saturday starting from 18 December 2010 to 21 May 2011. The serial is written by Sarwat Nazir and directed by Babar Javed. Fahad Mustafa is featured in the lead role while Faisal Qureshi, Aamina Sheikh, Alishba Yousuf, Saba Hameed and Asif Raza Mir portray supporting roles. Plot Main Abdul Qadir Hoon is a unique story of a boy named Abdul Qadir (Fahad Mustafa). SUCH TV is a television network based in Pakistan.Head office of Such TV in Islamabad. It is a news and current affairs TV channel with an aim of bringing unbiased and factual information.
