2010 World Junior A Challenge
The 2010 World Junior A Challenge was an international Junior "A" ice hockey tournament hosted by Hockey Canada. The 2010 World Junior A Challenge was hosted by Penticton, British Columbia, from November 8 to November 14, 2010 at the South Okanagan Events Centre. Teams The two host Canadian teams will return, along with Russia, Sweden and the United States. South Okanagan Events Centre
The South Okanagan Events Centre is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. It is home to the Penticton Vees ice hockey team. The arena opened to the public in September 2008. Previously, the Vees played at Penticton Memorial Arena. The centre hosted the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts Canadian national women's curling championship from January 27 to February 4. West Kelowna, formerly known as Westbank and colloquially known as Westside, is a city in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. Clarke Breitkreuz (born November 28, 1991) is a Canadian-German professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing for German side Lausitzer Füchse in the second-tier DEL2. Zachary Martin Hyman (born June 9, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger and author, currently playing for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hockey Canada named him the 2011 Canadian Junior Hockey League Player of the Year. In 2013, Hyman represented Canada at the 2013 Maccabiah Games in Israel, where he won a gold medal. Scott Wilson (born April 24, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing with HC Vityaz in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The Province of Canada (or the United Province of Canada or the United Canadas) was a British colony in North America from 1841 to 1867.
