2010 Wimbledon Championships – Women's Doubles
Vania King and Yaroslava Shvedova defeated Elena Vesnina and Vera Zvonareva in the final, 7–6(8–6), 6–2 to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2010 Wimbledon Championships. Serena and Venus Williams were the two-time defending champions, but lost in the quarterfinals to Vesnina and Zvonareva. Vania King
Vania King (born February 3, 1989) is an American former tennis player. A former top-ten doubles player, King won both the Wimbledon and US Open women's doubles titles in 2010 with partner Yaroslava Shvedova, with whom she also reached the final of the 2011 US Open. She won a total of 15 WTA doubles titles and reached a career-high ranking of No. 3 in the world. She also ended runner-up in the mixed-doubles final at the French Open in 2009, with Marcelo Melo. In singles, King has been ranked as high as No. 50 in the world. Her biggest accomplishments included a WTA Tour title at the 2006 Bangkok Open and two runner-up finishes at the 2013 Guangzhou International and 2016 Jianxi International. Rennae Stubbs
Rennae Stubbs (born 26 March 1971) is an Australian tennis coach, television commentator, and former professional player. She is the host of The Power Hour on Amazon Prime Video Sports Talk. She worked at the Seven Network between 2011 and 2018 as an analyst and is now a full time commentator for ESPN tennis and the host of her own podcast, The Rennae Stubbs Tennis podcast. She was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. Stubbs won four Grand Slam doubles titles and two mixed-doubles titles. She was ranked world No. 1 in doubles in 2000. Monica Niculescu (born 25 September 1987) is a Romanian professional tennis player. She has been ranked by the Women's Tennis Association as high as 28 in singles and 11 in doubles. Niculescu has won several titles: three singles and ten doubles titles on the WTA Tour, one singles and one doubles title at WTA 125 tournaments, as well as 19 singles and 22 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Ekaterina Valeryevna Makarova ( rus, Екатери́на Вале́рьевна Мака́рова; ; born 7 June 1988) is a Russian former professional tennis player who was ranked world No. 1 in doubles, and world No. 8 in singles. Vera Yevgenyevna Dushevina ( rus, Вера Евгеньевна Душевина; born 6 October 1986) is a Russian former professional tennis player. She won one singles title and two doubles titles on the WTA Tour. Iveta Benešová () (formerly Melzer, cs, Melzerová; born 1 February 1983) is a Czech former tennis player. She began playing tennis at age of seven and turned professional in 1998. Daniela Hantuchová (; born 23 April 1983) is a Slovak tennis commentator and retired player. Cara Cavell Black (born 17 February 1979) is a Zimbabwean former professional tennis player. Black was primarily a doubles specialist, winning 60 WTA Tour and 11 ITF doubles titles. Zheng Jie (born 5 July 1983) is a retired tennis player from China. In May 2009, she achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 15. Zheng is one of the most successful tennis players from China. She won four WTA singles titles – Hobart in 2005, Estoril, Stockholm in 2006, and Auckland in 2012.
