2010 West Coast Eagles Season
The 2010 season was the West Coast Eagles' 24th season in the AFL. The Eagles finished 16th and last to record their first wooden spoon in the competition, just four years after their premiership season of 2006. West Coast Eagles
The West Coast Eagles are a professional Australian rules football club based in Perth, Western Australia. The club was founded in 1986 as one of two expansion teams in the Australian Football League (AFL), then known as the Victorian Football League. The club plays its home games at Perth Stadium and has its headquarters at Lathlain Park. The West Australian Football Commission wholly owns the West Coast Eagles and the Fremantle Football Club, the AFL's other Western Australian team. The West Coast Eagles are one of the most successful clubs in the AFL era (1990 onwards). Bradd Dalziell (born 15 March 1987) is a former Australian rules footballer for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted to the Brisbane Lions with selection 52 of 2007 AFL Draft, 2007 AFL National Draft from the East Fremantle Football Club in the West Australian Football League. WAFL Bradd Dalziell struggled during the 2007 WAFL season as he broke his arm and missed half of the season, but despite his injury he received earlier on the season, he still managed to win Best and Fairest for the East Fremantle reserves team grand final. West Perth Falcons
The West Perth Football Club, nicknamed the Falcons, is an Australian rules football club located in Joondalup, Western Australia. West Perth competes in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and WAFL Women's (WAFLW) and is the oldest existing Australian rules football club in Western Australia. Andrew Strijk (born 18 October 1987) is an Australian rules footballer currently listed with the West Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He previously played with the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Career Strijk was recruited from the Carine Junior Football Club, and made his debut at the age of 18 for West Perth midway through the 2006 WAFL season, against . Ryan Neates (born 21 June 1991) is an Australian rules footballer currently listed with the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL), having previously played with the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Koby Stevens (born 18 June 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast, Western Bulldogs, and St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was selected as a second round pick (number 22 overall) in the 2009 AFL draft. Biography Stevens played for Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup. Gerrick Peter Weedon (born 25 May 1991) is an Australian rules footballer who previously played with the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). The East Fremantle Football Club, nicknamed the Sharks, is an Australian rules football club playing in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and WAFL Women's (WAFLW).
