2010 Valencia GP3 Series Round
The 2010 Valencia GP3 Series round was a GP3 Series motor race held on June 26 and June 27, 2010, at the Valencia Street Circuit in Valencia, Spain. It was the third round of the 2010 GP3 Series. The race was used to support the 2010 European Grand Prix. Classification Qualifying Notes :1. - Roberto Merhi, Michael Christensen, Stefano Coletti, Alexander Rossi, Pablo Sánchez López, Dean Smith, Daniel Morad, James Jakes and Lucas Foresti received a three-place grid penalty because of ignoring yellow flags. Valencia Street Circuit
The Valencia Street Circuit ( ca-valencia, Circuit Urbà de València, es, Circuito Urbano de Valencia, links=no) was a street circuit in Valencia, Spain which hosted the Formula One European Grand Prix for five years (2008–2012). The first race meeting on the circuit was held over the 23/24 August 2008 weekend, with Felipe Massa winning the main event, the European Grand Prix, after starting from pole position. The circuit used the roads skirting the city's harbour and America's Cup port area – including a section over a swing bridge – and also included some roads designed exclusively for racing purposes by the German architect Hermann Tilke, who also designed the infrastructure buildings for the circuit. The 2012 edition took place on 24 June and was the last to go under the name of the European Grand Prix until 2016, when the Baku City Circuit used the title for one year. Michael Christensen (racing Driver)
Michael Klitgaard Christensen (born 28 August 1990) is a Danish racing driver. He is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Porsche in the GTE PRO class. Career Karting Born in Karlslunde, Christensen had a very successful karting career, winning the 2004 Nordic ICA Junior Championship. The following year he gathered both Nordic and European titles in ICA Junior class. For 2006 Christensen graduated to Formula A and he achieved a second place in the Formula A World Championship and was twice champion in the German Kart Championship Winner of the Macau Int. Tobias Hegewald
Tobias Hegewald (born 3 August 1989 in Neuwied) is a German racing driver. Career Karting Hegewald spent three seasons racing in professional karting, including a 5th place in the 2002 Junior Monaco Kart Cup at ICA Junior level, racing against the likes of Formula Three Euroseries racers Alexander Sims, Jean Karl Vernay, Stefano Coletti and Jules Bianchi and also Sébastien Buemi. Formula BMW For 2005, Hegewald moved to open-wheel racing by taking part in both the Formula BMW ADAC series, and the Formula BMW USA series. Doru Sechelariu
Doru Sechelariu (born 19 November 1992 in Bacău, Romania) is a Romanian racecar driver. He is the son of Dumitru Sechelariu, who was the mayor of Bacău from 1996 to 2004. Career Karting Sechelariu began his motorsport career in karting back in 2002, winning in the Mini class of the FRAK Cup. In 2005 he finished 15th in the ICA Junior class of the Italian championship. Formula Renault Sechelariu moved into single-seaters in 2006, competing in Formula Renault 1.6 Belgium for Thierry Boutsen Racing. Alexander Michael Rossi (born September 25, 1991) is an American professional racing driver and podcast host. He currently competes full-time in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet for Arrow McLaren SP. Rossi is best known for winning the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 as a rookie in 2016. Stefano Coletti (born 6 April 1989) is a Monégasque professional racing driver who races for SMP Racing in the European Le Mans Series. His sister Alexandra Coletti is an alpine skier. He is the first Monégasque driver since Louis Chiron (1931) to have won a race in Monaco. Mücke Motorsport is an auto racing team based in Germany, which is also known as ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg. History Single-seaters Mücke Motorsport was formed by Peter Mücke in 1998 to run his son Stefan Mücke in the German Formula BMW ADAC series, in which they were champions. Nigel Melker (born 25 January 1991) is a Dutch racing driver. Career Karting Melker was born in Rotterdam. He began his motorsport career in karting in 2001, winning in the Dutch Mini Junior Cup. In 2005, he won the German Junior championship and finishing as runner-up in the European ICA Junior championship. Addax Team
Addax, or Barwa Addax was a Spanish motorsport team owned by the bank Addax Capital, which competed in the GP2, GP3 and GP2 Asia Series. Team history GP2 Series Barwa Addax was formed as a result of Alejandro Agag purchase of the Campos Racing GP2 team. Campos Racing was started by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos in 1998, and competed in the GP2 Series since its inaugural season in 2005. Felipe "Lopes" Guimarães (born March 22, 1991, in Anápolis, Goiás) is a Brazilian racing driver. After a childhood in karting, Guimarães transitioned to the extremely competitive Formula Three Sudamericana series at the age of 16 and finished 4th in points with two victories. 2008 took him to Europe where he competed in Euroseries 3000 where he finished 9th in points.
