2010 Singapore Cup
The 2010 Singapore Cup (known as the RHB Singapore Cup for sponsorship reasons) started on 24 May 2010. It was the 13th staging of the annual Singapore Cup soccer tournament. 12 S.League clubs and 4 invited foreign teams played in this edition. The cup was a single-elimination tournament, with all sixteen teams playing from the first round. The first round involved one-off matches. Subsequent rounds involved ties of two legs. The first round kicked off between 24 and 31 May, with the quarter-finals played from 27 September to 15 October, and the semi-finals on 25 to 29 October. Young Lions FC
Young Lions Football Club, commonly known as Young Lions, is a Singaporean developmental football club that competes in the Singapore Premier League. The team is under the direct control of the Football Association of Singapore. The Young Lions are one of the few football clubs in the world which place an age restriction on team members while playing in a top-flight professional league. The Young Lions plays their league matches at the Jurong West Stadium. Their best S.League finish was third, which they achieved in 2004 and 2006. Agu Casmir
Agu Casmir (born 23 March 1984 in Lagos, Nigeria) is a retired professional association football, football player. Born in Nigeria, he represented the Singapore national football team, Singapore national team. Club career Casmir previously played for S.League clubs Young Lions (Singapore football team), Young Lions and Woodlands Wellington FC in Singapore's S.League, Casmir burst onto the football scene with Woodlands Wellington FC in 2002, scoring a remarkable 27 goals as an 18-year-old. Toa Payoh Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Toa Payoh, Singapore. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Balestier Khalsa FC. The stadium holds 3,896 people. Masrezwan bin Masturi (born 17 February 1981) is a Singaporean footballer currently playing for Home United in the S.League. Club career Masrezwan started his career with Woodlands Wellington, before moving to Singapore Armed Forces during his National Service days, and eventually becoming a member of the pioneer squad of the Young Lions (Singapore football team) in 2003. He returned to Woodlands in 2004 and helped his club to gain 3rd position in the S.League in 2005.
