2010 Saskatchewan Roughriders Season
The 2010 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League. The Roughriders attempted to win their 4th Grey Cup championship, but they lost to the Montreal Alouettes. The Roughriders celebrated their 100th Anniversary this year, which included wearing retro black, silver and red uniforms, having a documentary made of the franchise and having the Canadian Mint release a specialized Roughrider loonie. Ken Miller (football Coach)
Ken Miller (born October 15, 1941) is currently an offensive consultant for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He previously served in the league as head coach and vice president of football operations for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He served as the Roughriders head coach between 2008 and 2010, leading the team to appearances in the Grey Cup in 2009 and 2010. Miller returned as head coach of the Roughriders on August 19, 2011, after the firing of Greg Marshall after a 1–7 start to the 2011 CFL season. Miller was the club's offensive coordinator under head coach Kent Austin when they captured the 95th Grey Cup in 2007. He had previously served on the coaching staffs of the Toronto Argonauts, University of Redlands, Dickinson State, and Yucaipa High School. Chris Getzlaf
Chris Getzlaf (born January 9, 1983) is a Canadian former professional football slotback who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 2007 to 2017. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2007 CFL Draft, 33rd overall, by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and was later traded that season to the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He has also been a member of the Edmonton Eskimos. Prior to turning pro, Getzlaf played with the junior team Prairie Thunder and the collegiate team Regina Rams in his hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan. Marc Parenteau
Marc Parenteau (born December 4, 1980 in Sherbrooke, Quebec) was a professional Canadian football offensive lineman who last played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted 36th overall by the Ottawa Renegades in the 2003 CFL Draft. He was signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders to a contract on February 12, 2007 where he played in 3 Grey Cup Championships (2007 (win), 2009 (loss), 2010 (loss)) and played for five seasons before being released on February 10, 2012. Stu Foord (born September 23, 1985) is a former Canadian football running back. He was originally signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders as an undrafted free agent in 2008. Before joining the Roughriders, Foord played five years for the Regina Thunder of the Prairie Football Conference. Kelly Bates (born July 27, 1975) is the offensive line coach for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
