2010 Pasay Local Elections
Local elections were held in Pasay on May 13, 2010, as part of the general elections. Voters elected the mayor, vice-mayor, representative of the city's lone district in House of Representatives and six members of the city council in each district. Antonino "Tony" Gallardo Calixto (born May 10, 1954) is a Filipino people, Filipino businessman and politician. He currently serves as a member of the Philippine House of Representatives representing the Pasay's at-large congressional district, Lone District of Pasay. Imelda "Emi" Gallardo Calixto-Rubiano (born August 16, 1960), is a Filipino businesswoman and politician currently serving as mayor of Pasay since 2019. She previously served as a member of the House of Representatives for the lone district of Pasay from 2010 until 2019, and city councilor from 1998 until 2004, and again from 2007 until 2010. Legislative District Of Pasay
The legislative districts of Pasay are the representations of the highly urbanized city of Pasay in the Congress of the Philippines. The city is currently represented in the lower house of the Congress through its lone congressional district. History Pasay was initially represented as part of the at-large district of the province of Manila in the Malolos Congress from 1898 to 1899. The then-town was later incorporated to the province of Rizal, established in 1901, and was represented as part of the first district of Rizal from 1907 to 1941 and from 1945 to 1972.
